Today as Ahem embraced Gopi into him and as she looked up and talked to him, my heart was swelling. Not just because it was a lovely scene but because something struck me (As usual😆.. So you guys get to see my rant😉)

Saathiya started about the dreams of two different girls. One Gopi, an orphan who wanted nothing but a loving husband and a MIL who would be a mother to her. Her husband's education, work, status, money did not matter to the abused girl. She craved love.
Then there was Rashi who wanted all that Gopi did not and more. She wanted love too but that would be secondary to the above said.
Perspectives differ. So that desires and ambitions. I am not her to say who is right or wrong. But today as I watched both couple, I think that both these girls got their dreams fulfilled. It is just how you look at it that matters.

Let us take Gopi. Gopi now has her dream and maybe more. She would never have dreamed that she would study or for that matter take up a business doing something she loves. She did not dream that her husband would be a person who is highly educated, intelligent, rich and dynamic. She did not dream of a MIL who loves her more than a daughter and a family who would love her like a princess.
But today with all that she also has her husband's undying love and a MIL who takes care of her like a daughter. Her path has not been and will not be roses. But then she still got her dream and cherishes it. KKs have always been there for her, either directly or indirectly. It does not matter somehow. Gopi got her dream😃

Rashi's dream has also been fulfilled. Please read my perspective before you throw chappals at me. Rashi wanted to marry a rich guy. This came true. She wanted her husband to say yes to all her desires. This also came true. She has got a lovely MIL. She can get whatever she wants. Her sasural is one of the richest in their city and they are held at high regard. Rashi is part of that family and she has the status she wished for. She is Mrs. Jigar Modi😊
But yet, she is not happy.
I guess, what Rashi did not count was the responsibilities of marriage. What I mean is that, Rashi cannot go to the parlour when she wants to and other such stuff.. But these are things that happen even in the richest houses. Marriage is a responsibility and not just a facebook status.

But responsibilities do not mean that the dream did not come true. It has. It is still getting better. But still Rashi feels that fate has played a cruel game all the time. If only she will change her perspective and look a little outside she will see just how beautifully her dreams have also come true.

Life is never a bed of roses but the outlook is what matters , in whatever situations we are in. Dreams come true if only we are able to recognize it. I feel happy that both girls got their dreams and they get to live it even if one does not recognize the gift she has got. I will say, saathiya has done justice😛

Fantastic... I do agree that both sisters got what they wanted.. but Rashi is still suffering because she has not been able to experience in a way she should have, due to her mom.. If she stops listening to her mom, she will be fine and other wise she is irreparable..

Very well said. Both sisters got want they wanted. One (Raashi) is just not satisfied, her inherent jealousy or her sister and wanting to be better than her (Gopi), and get fame and recognition (from the rest of the family and outsiders) has made her discontent, and do more harm than good.

On top of that Rasshi is misled by her mother. This is not very uncommon, I have heard of so many misled daughters. Some see through their mothers and steer away from misguided ways, but some don't.

I don't blame children for wrong doing, parents should do our part to guide them well. Just my 2 cents.

gopi cherishes whatever little she has..Rashi is always asking for more ..
that hug scene showed how content gopi is with life..it was short but extremely sweetwith both of them enjoying their physical closeness..
rashi has to lose everything she has ..everything she takes for granted before she changes

This is also about contentment. Gopi has had very little in life and so whatever she has now, she is greatly thankful for. Rashi, who has gotten more than Gopi, keeps on wanting more and more. She's like a blackhole really. 😲 No offense to Rashi fans. I love it when she's fun and bubbly because it balances the seriousness of the Modis. It's the nonsensical notions stemmed from apni UrmiKurmi that just tip her over. Why can't she just think with her head? If she wants to be part of the achaar business, all she has to do is work decently. With time, even she might become Gopi's business partner. Gosh, at this rate, she might run out of apologies when the time comes for apologizing.

(Still writing paper and in the process of turning into a zombie! Aaah Uni, I won't miss you one bit after I'm done.🤬)

Thanks Munni.. 😃
I know how it is partner.. So comment when you can😊
Well.. Rashi will not change.. Not so soon. Didn't we agree that if Rashi changes SNS will end😉
The fact though is that Rashi did get her dream. She just does not know or will not accept because she is just too greedy and wants more and more.. That usually leads to a lot of disappointment and heartache. What do you think?😊

Thanks Gayathri.😛
Rashi's suffering is due to her own self. Though I agree that Urmi poisons her, I still maintain that in life, after you are an age, one has to understand the right from the wrong.
It is not that Rashi does not know it is wrong,. It is just that her inbuilt jealousy makes her do what she knows is wrong. That is because she thinks Gopi has more than she does.

Gopi surely does. But the 'more' part is a huge heart and an innocence.. Unfortunately as Rashi sees others as herself, she cannot see what a beautiful life she has. Should we pity her for her foolishness?😕 She certainly is in the path of self destruction.

Thank you and beautifully explained points. 👏
@Bold, I agree partly. I know that we listen to parents most often than not and that Urmi is one of the reasons for Rashi being like this. But I will not absolve Rashi altogether.
She is old enough to make decisions and it is her decision to look at the cup half empty.. Unfortunately the fact the she keeps comparing her cup with Gopi is not helping matters at all.
