Yes everyone has the right perspective. Their own. But it is always best to step back from your own perspective and then take a decision that actually works and is practical!

When you think with your heart and not your mind disaster tends to follow.

Yea... no one is a better judge than the self... I always feel that we should do only what we want and not what others want... 😃

Yep. Life is too short. You need to do what makes you happy... provided it does not harm anyone else of course. Trying to live your life to please others and doing what they want only makes you unhappy.

I'd say Amen to that.

Great post Gayatri.

Just to add to what is said here ... whilst everyone is right in their own way they were still unable to think of a way collectively to fix the problem. Baa never claimed to be right, instead she suggested they try it out.

The thing here is Ashwin everyone is safeguarding their little space around them and holding on to their pride all because they know that they are right.

They don't know that they are right. They believe that they are right. And they are scared/ashamed of being wrong. Hence they cling on to their belief because it makes them feel safe and secure. And they cling to a group that thinks/believes the same as they do because they believe that if others think the same way as them then that proves that they are right. Plus there is safety in numbers 😆

The reality being that they are very far from right. But to admit that may just blow their world apart 😆

What comes to mind here is the phrase ... no man is an island. Hence the need to group: Rashi with Urmila, Kokila with Hetal. The purpose for the groupings is to build on combined strength for their own win situation to prove that they are right and stubbornly are so too.

Your last two sentences are aptly put. It has to do with their fear of losing everything in their wake.

Good post Ani..👏
Isn't this what real life is too.. Nobody is wrong especially when it comes to certain situations. Well, Kokila is worried for a to-be mother and her child while Ahem wants his wife to build her confidence..
Gopi wants to try something that makes her happy.

Well no one is wrong. As a mother it is Koki's prerogative to be concerned and she is. But I really do hope that this concern of hers though valid from one point just remains that. Actually, in a long term Ahem's decision is better.

Gopi really needs to grow in confidence. She cannot cry everytime something goes wrong. Soon she will start to learn that she will not have Koki or Ahem to pick her up because she will soon have to learn to take care of a child herself.
About time she gained the confidence to face adversities with a little more confidence and stand up to those who fool her.

So yeah, though Koki is right from her side, I want Ahem's to be proved right. Gopi still has a choice to NOT make the pickle. But she will have to not for Koki or Ahem but for herself. She needs to learn that mistakes make a person. As long as you accept it and work towards correcting the mistake, there is nothing to fear😊
