Rashmi Sharma - hating her own show?

Read in several posts how Rashmi Sharma is blaming the current story line of SNS for its lower rating. Really? Is she putting her own show down? Someone should give her lessons in how to market her show and connect with her viewers. This post is not about Giaa/Devoleena, but everyone knows that when a main lead is replaced, the viewers have a hard time accepting the change. Now, instead of alienating her viewers further by calling her own story crappy, she should have made comments that would have been both politically correct and encouraging to her viewers, and her cast and crew. I would have expected her to say something like this -

"Whenever an actor is replaced in a show, it takes time for the audience to connect to the new face. We feel that we made a good decision in bringing Devoleena on board and in time, our viewers will start accepting her as Gopi. The SNS team as always is working hard to put on a good show for their viewers. We are working on bringing even more interesting tracks in future. I would implore our audience to continue to show the same love and support that they have shown us for the last 2 years and we will work hard to not disappoint them."

Wouldn't that have made more sense? It would have looked more real and would have given encouragement to the cast and crew of Saathiya especially Devoleena. The viewers would have also seen that she cares about what they think. Is Rashmi Sharma really qualified to be the head of a PH when she can't even follow the basic rules of damage control?

Aris, nice post. Rashmi has definitely shown her contempt for the very people who had taken her serial to heart and took it to the highest trps ever for a 7pm show. She is fast becoming the Nero or King George of the PH. Both were mad and Nero even fiddled while Rome burned. Until someone comes forward and takes stock I fear the we will be on the receiving end of many more statements.

I like your analogies, Xarina. Yeah, she is fiddling with her new husband while her show is burning. I don't think I would ever want to show another show produced by her. She does not care for the survival of her own show or the people she employs or the viewers. I am not sure how long can her PH survive?

Oh, I have no doubt about that, but I just don't understand her attitude. Wouldn't she care about her own business? How do you survive if you don't care about your clients? The statements she is making are so amateurish. I don't own a PH. Heck, I don't even own a small business, but even I know that you have to please your customers in order to make them come back to you. She doesn't always have to give into their demands which is not always viable, but she should be able to fool them into thinking that she cares them and is doing her best to fulfill their wishes.
