there is not a single instance .. where people are happy with the replacement .. yeah some accept the change and move on .. but there will be a section of people .. who cannot take any replacement in a positive way..

be it a cricket captain replaced or be it a company CEO replaced or be it a new Prime Minister being elected.. there is always a chunk of population who would not want to accept the change...

they would have got used to Dev for 2 years... and when the other actor comes .. she would have faced what Dev is facing right now..

and there are some like me .. who accept and move on.. if dev was replaced with the other actor.. i would have accepted the other actor with equal reverence with which i now accepted Dev...

Gia did a great work to bring charm to the character gopi.Even SP,PH knew it very well and their ego doesn't let them to accept it.Now we are seeing only the changed version of saathiya and not real saathiya...

@red - this is not my life.. and no one here, No ONE, knows what i am like in my life and how i deal with my personal issues..this is precisely with respect to a TV show in my life for which i definitely don't want to be emotional and be crying over spilled milk, like a teenage kid ,,,

@blue... I replied to the topic maker's POV where it is a hypothetical situation .. had Dev been gopi from the beginning and replaced by someone else..

The TM, asked what will happen, when Dev happens to be the original GOPI, for that only ,we are all answering. I think you are the one talked about MOVING ON in your previous post. We are discussing about Giaa and Dev. i don't know, where is your MOVING ON thing, fits here. pls. here i am not talking about anybody's personal life. I agree Viji , for a serial to be popular, i think the characters/ actors play a big role.. also, especially for a lead role, newbie does not suit it either way (acting or apperance).. I think if SNS started with newbie, then it would have the highest TRP of maybe 3.5.. and it would end within 4-6 months.

and also, if SNS started with newbie, I wouldnt even watch the show in the first place 😆
