First of all, let's all refrain from bashing and personal attacks. I don't know how this can happen here but let's not turn this into a "new Gopi vs old Gopi" debate. This is solely about if SNS can end due to low TRP's.

So the new TRP charts are out:

Even though Saathiya appears 8th on the list, it is #5 in the TRP rankings. Two shows are tied for the #3 spot and two are tied for the #4 spot (on a sidenote: Balika Vadhu is #2!!!). The TRPs for SNS are lower than what everyone is used to seeing. In the next few weeks, we may see it go down or we may see them come back up. But the question for this thread is... can the show ever garner low enough TRPs to go off air?

Share your opinions! Here is mine for anyone interested:

I don't think so. SNS still holds the highest TRP ratings for the 7 pm slot, which isn't a competitive slot to begin with. It's still hovering around 3.0 even though the other 7 pm shows are around 2.0 or lower. For example, Colors' 7 pm show Kairee is not even on the chart. Despite the drop , I can't see them falling below 2.0 unless the story really takes a dramatic turn (like a leap). I still think SNS's end will be caused by the CVs running out of ideas... or running out of animals 😛

Or introducing more of Koki's unknown relative who really only knows half truths about Koki and her family.

Or they might surprise is and bring in Hetal's side of the family now that Rashi thinks she is pregnant.

SNS will run it's normal course. Even old Gopi days the show was literally in it's final year. I reckon December 2012 will be it.

It could have gone on for longer. But the CV's has lost the plot ages ago. And Rashmi Sharma lost interest and found a man.

I agree with Shaun that by the end of the year the story will wrap up. It's about time, the story lines seem played out and the ratings are sliding.

I think the ideas will run out before the animals, they have a zoo @ MM, I'm expecting a pig and a horse next.

I agree that it will run it's normal course . There were lots of moments when the story was uninteresting, and the latest example I can think was the Anita track that dragged on for ages 🤢

I can see it ending in December. It's enough time for Gopi to have her baby, even if they don't fast forward through the months.

The show is nearing it's natural conclusion anyway but I don't think the TRPs are going to influence the length at the moment. Out of the abundance of shows that are on tv at the moment it is still managing a credible and respectable TRP rating even if it is lower than what it was.

So I don't think SNS will end due to TRPs but rather because it will be time for it to do so.

Nazma, just saw your comment. And I agree

I'm also pleased that SNS was able to stay in the top ten despite all the issues and problems it went through in the past month. That's impressive on the cast and crew's parts 😊
