It's a week since DB has taken over the role of Gopi and I'm sure has put in lots of hard work and effort to make the best of a bad and uncomfortable situation.
She and all the team have done a fantastic job.
However I have a few suggestions/comments regarding her portrayal of Gopi which I believe will help improve her characterization of the role.
1. The long finger nails don't go with Gopi's character. Gopi is a simple girl with only housework and her family on her mind. Well manicured and shaped finger nails don't go. And the same nails painted red look totally out of place. I would suggest to cut the nails and then paint them, or just keep them without nail polish.
2. The way DB says 'AHEMJI' needs a lot of work. There should be a lot of respect, shyness and love in that one word. It's somehow not coming accross. It seems very automatic and as if DB is addressing a stranger.
3. The same goes when addressing Kokila - there should be respect and lots of admiration.
For Rashi also there should be respect and love. With Meethi it should be friendly and kind.
These emotions are not coming across strongly.
4. When sitting with Kokila and Hetal in the living room. They were just relaxing. Gopi seemed to be out of place as if she was a visitor. She needs to have the body language of being in her own house and at ease. Also the car ride with Ahem, she was a bit stiff. DB should relax and let this come across on screen.
On a positive side, the scene where she was sleeping, showing signs of nausea and today's Gohem hug was very well done.
Love the show and hope it continue's to do well.
Good Luck
