I believe you are giving constructive criticism a name of bashing over here which is wrong. I know she can't change her "natural looks" but that is WHAT GOT HER the role. It's all about acceptance which takes time. If you expect people to sit on IF and sing aartis and bhaajans for characters/actors 24/7..its really silly. This is India-Forums not India-Fansite. We are here to discuss. By accusing every poster who makes such posts a "basher" you guys are taking advantage of the system over here.

I haven't seen many Gopi criticisms when Gia was still in the show though. A lot of people have been using the "free to criticize acting" card in response to say bad things about the new Gopi because they are unhappy with the change (a thread goes from something like "She needs to be expressive" to "She's just ugly and we need Gia now").

I'm not saying that is definitely the case here (the TM may have very well wanted to discuss genuine criticisms). But regarding people who have seen so many "anti new Gopi" threads and "anti Devo" threads lately, I'm sure you can understand why someone would've thought this was something similar to some past threads.
