From what I have seen of the new girl it is as though she is doing a mock mimick of Gopi. You know when other actors are really trying to insult a character so they really exagerate the character.

So I watched it. Honestly, wanted to give it a chance of the other cast and Nazim. First I noticed averting my eyes every time Dev came on screen. I kind of felt ashamed of myself for being so biased😳. So I watched again. Now I found myself putting Giaa's face on her face😕. It was so hard. Again, I tried and watched the scenes with Nazim. Kept seeing Giaa on holi. Tried to take Giaa out of my mind to give Dev a chance.

OK, so I watched the epi imagining Giaa in her place. It just didn't work. You know why? It was going way too fast that it looked unreal. Even if Giaa was there, I wouldn't have been able to savour the scenes. You need to give viewers time to absorb what's happening. They piled one thing after another in a single scene of a few minutes. All of a sudden Ahemji remembers holi, he has tears, he hugs her, he gives her a kiss, he is happy over the baby. Looked so fake. Too much. If Giaa was here, they would have taken days to show all this and we would have waited in anticipation imagining, absorbing and taking apart every single moment. It was way too much and so looked fake.
They need to slow down, man. Some things can't be hurried.

the main problem with the new girl is that she is very much trying to immitate giaa...thts y it all looks fake...if she had presented the character in her known way then it could have looked much better...but the damage is already done and the charcter gopi,gohem scenes and sns has lost all its charm and flavour...

Its really all lost... No matter how dreamy Ahem/Nazim looks... Its all a waste. I am so sorry for the other actors.

Agree Aish...Gia complimented Nazim & Nazim complimented Gia...now even with Ahem holding the entire show on his shoulders...it is not enough...the other girl is just killing it...Im not against her but she has not connect with the audience & her innocense is so fake !!!

I haven't watched today's episode. Actually I couldn't able to watch.
Even if we try to move on, they are not giving us time to accept or atleast to get used to the new pair. It is like rushing. It is just painful to watch. So stopped watching.

@Bold Exactly this is my point. I was saying the same after watching the promo.

If they think after 2 years of patience they just show us what we have been waiting to see then we would get over the fact it isnt with OUR GOPI...but no!! I mean it really even shows how uncomfortable Ahem is with this chick...I have nothing against her personally but you cannot just change an ongoing image of someone. The things Ahem does should be with Real Gopi that is why were fan of show and waited patienly for 2 years. I just cannot believe that what audience wants and fans what does not matter to SP or director/producers of the show. If we dont like what you put on the TV we will not watch it as we have that POWER!!! POWER OF AUDIENCE without whom their show would be disaster. I just want this show to end now because I cannot bear how audience have no value of their opinion and they show these meaningful scenes between completely wrong people. I just am not even going to bother anymore with wasting my time in saying anything because it is pointless.
