Yes Gia is devastated, we are devastated for her, but it's a bigger loss for SP,PH and Saathiya. It's SP,PH that seem to be unprofessional...and it's shown from the way this whole situation was handled.
I applaud Gia for her guts and sticking to her decision about doing JDJ. She has the love and support of all her fans. So she will have no problem getting another big role. Other channels, PHs know how big of fan base Gia has, so someone will sign her at the first opportunity, i strongly believe that.
I know we only wanna see Gia as Gopi, so we are doing whatever we can to bring her back and she might even come back for her fans but i think they will just treat her like shyt and not with utmost respect like she deserves. I would rather have her give them a finger for their unprofessional behavior and tell them they're the one who screwed up and it's their loss. I know everyone might not agree with me, but I think if a person makes a decision to better their career, they should praised and encouraged, not insulted and put down.
As for Saathiya, like I said in one of other post, I think their days are numbered. They're going to lose majority of their audience and the ratings will drop. They will have no choice but wrap up the show. And that would obviously be saddening for rest of cast of Saathiya but SP should really learn to respect their actors. Because fans are created by the way these actors portray their character, by how they built it, and how they get into their character...which then makes the fans like the writers, directors,the channel, etc. When these channels,PH disrespect their actors like this, they lose their credibility and fans.
***India should start doing seasons of shows instead of running them non stop for years, that way everyone gets some time off in b/w seasons to pick up on other opportunities; as well as time to spend with their family and friends.
