So another beautiful episode.. The end of the high tension and drama ones..
There was enough drama and anger combined with tears, romance and Aww moments today.. The end of Anitha and the beginning of a new journey for GoHem.
The episode started where it ended yesterday. Koki continued spewing fire as she tells Anitha about Gopi's love. The one thing Anitha has kept telling koki for demeaning Gopi is that Gopi's love is fake. Remember the song lyrics?
Well Koki answers her well and proper by questioning why Anitha did not go in to rescue Ahem when he was about to blow up? I and I am sure most of us had the same question..
Koki , aww I loved her, takes Gopi's hand and tells Anitha about the difference between being a wife and talking about being one.. Beautiful lines.. A wife cannot be demeaned, especially one like Gopi just because she did not fall down as low as Anitha..
Koki so gives her conclusion. Anitha is not in love with Ahem.. Anitha still disagrees like an adamant child. She is really I think still looking to win this round even if it can be accomplished by just repeating that she loves Ahem.
So comes the voice of Ahem Parag Modi. He has had enough and his expression and voice convey that he is not enjoying what he is hearing.. He strides down.. Well done by Nazim.. he looked like thunder and he blasts Anitha off right from the start.
His "My wife" still keeps sounding in my head.. He is angry and he is angry for Gopi.. Well done Nazim on the expressions.đ Well his every sentence is said with conviction and total honesty. He is grateful that it was him and not Gopi in the kitchen. Can anyone doubt his love now?
He talks about his trust in Anita. She is the girl he had once thought he loved. She may not be his lover anymore but he thought she was the same person she was when he knew her. Now he finds that she is not that person at all. His words are damning and there is no room for any doubt. Those who doubted Ahem's intentions, he answered with powerful statements today.
"You and me are the past. I am happy with Gopi. I do not love you. I have started hating you.." Every line and the way it was uttered was just fabulous. Especially the "I do not love you" line. It has a finality to it that cannot be questioned. Ahem has closed his past forever. There is no doubt.. Well done Nazim on the voice modulation and the expressions.âď¸
The one piece I loved the most was the way he walked to take Gopi's hand in his. He got her to stand with him as he blasted Anitha. He never let go till he was done, completely disgusted with who Anitha has become, Ahem walks away to his room..
Rashi and Hetal show their happiness when Ahem tells Anitha that he is happy with his wife. They also look relieved.đ Koki gives a knowing look. She expected this to be Ahem's answer, something she tells Anitha when Ahem leaves.
Koki then goes on to tell Anitha ,who by the way has broken down and in tears, about why she let her continue doing and saying things she did.. She explains about her wanting Anitha to face the reality herself.. Koki need not worry. Her son could not have made it any clearer. She warns Anitha again about messing with her familyđ
A small thought. Will this not have happened if they had questioned Ahem before? Probably not. Ahem's answers would not have changed but Anitha would not have been convinced. She was convinced today because she saw that Ahem was talking not because of Koki but because of his love for his wife..
With all leaving Anitha to her fate, the only person left pitying her is our very own Gopi vahu.. I am not sure if Anitha deserved this from Gopi, but as she later tells Gopi herself, by doing what she did, Gopi just made Anitha feel more worse about her mistakes..
Then comes the KoShi scene of the day.. Rashi as usual cannot but call her mother to update and Urmi like recently does not pick up the call. Koki comes in. She is soft to Rashi, explaining her to call her mom later. She says about how Rashi is the only one who now has the responsibility of the kitchen as the others are busy elsewhere..
Then Koki talks about how this ordeal has changed Gopi for the better. It is true, Gopi rose up to the occasion when it mattered. Her self confidence increased.. I love the next scene.. As Koki goes forward, Rashi steps back.. Perfect. Koki can still make Rashi sweat.
But Koki just praises Rashi.. Hear.. Hear.đ. She tells the surprised Rashi, I can see more surprised faces, that there is nothing to be surprised about. She was just stating the truth. The truth that Koki stands for.
She also advices Rashi to remain the positive person she is. Rashi is very happy but Now Rashi wants her nemesis out, Anitha. Hetal walks in and Koki tells Rashi that the elders would decide on her fate. A fine scene about changing dynamics in the family.
Here between all this talk, Anitha goes to her room to repent. Ok.. I confess. I pitied her a bit as she came to terms with the person she has become. Looks like Ahem's hard words came at the right time. She starts packing and I am happy.
Whether she means this or not, I want her out of MM. She makes a lot of people in MM uncomfortable.. But you see I am not Gopi and Gopi does not think like me. She goes in and asks Anitha why she is packing. Anitha answers the obvious of course.. I would have expected the same.. Atleast Anitha showed some shame in the end.
But she did look really sad and was ashamed of her actions. So I would like to say.. "Ok Anitha. Good. And better that you are leaving.. well done. And please do not come back?"
But our dear Gopi cannot see even Anitha in distress. But I really do get her. I mean Gopi has gone through the same rejections, the lonliness that Anitha is going through. She chose her path and Anitha chose hers. That has made the difference.
With the concern in her heart our Gopi walks to her room to see Ahem in complete disbelief and anger. He cannot throw Anitha out, so he throws the book.. Gopi comes in at the right time and then I just love this scene again..
She hands over the book to Ahem. He looks up to see her and you can see him visibly calm by looking at her face. Gopi indicates slightly with a nod for Ahem to take the book which he does but this gesture is so intimate. It looks like they have known each other for eons.
Ahem does not want Gopi to leave which she is about to do and he stops her by, oh, that holding hand again.. She looks at him and he asks her to gently sit "Baito.." She does.
BTW, Gopi looks gorgeous. Ahem does not let her hand go and he tries to explain himself. He apologizes to her for Anitha's actions and words. Somewhere he is the reason for those words too and you can see the urgency in him to assure his stand to Gopi and assure himself too that she still belives him. It is a beautiful scene.đł Ahem's need for Gopi's assurance is just too good to see.
Gopi again assures him of her trust. She is holding his hand now (though we do not see it).. He is visibly relieved and calms down. Gopi strikes when the iron is hot. She talks about Anitha. Ahem is upset. He does not want to have anything to do with Anitha and he is absolutely done with her. I agree with him. But Gopi makes him think beyond his anger.
I loved that part and I will tell you why in just a bit.. But at the end we have Ahem thinking about Gopi's words. He will help Anitha for Gopi and no one else. But he will not let Gopi's words go in vain..
Now to the part why I loved this sequence. It has been there before but not this obvious but both Gopi and Ahem fight for each other. Today, Ahem was angry and indignant for Gopi. He showed his anger at Anitha's words and her actions for Gopi while she made him see beyond his anger. He may now not want anything to do with Anitha but Gopi knows that Ahem is a good person at heart.
When he calms down, no point in the future should he regret not helping Anitha just one more time. Gopi has seen Ahem's guilt. She has the foresight to prevent any guilt in the future. Both are true saathiya's for each other.
So finally the ladies are back in the burnt kitchen cooking food. They have a sick, hurt person at home and really Modi's do not like take out food. Rashi did try though and was shot down.. Gopi was working on a makeshift mixer in place of the electronic one and they were cooking on a kerosone stove. It is a pretty picture when we have Anitha walking down with her bag.
So tomorrow we can say bye bye to Anitha forever, I hope. We may also see what Ahem has done for Gopi..
As for the precap, I feel that there is no way Ahem is going to confess if Gopi keeps doing this. He looks playful and amused at her indignant question about why he threw the sari away and Ahem is left stumped with her answer. Explanation of why I feel so comes tomorrow.
But Ahem will think his love is nowhere near Gopi's if she keeps doing this.. Just sayingđ
