With Gopi telling him that Anitha looks sad & disappointed, Ahem was concerned & wanted to check if she was fine. As he was about to call her, his mom had come & found out that he was the one who was calling Anitha as Nilesh. He realised his mom was very angry & was not ready to listen to any of his explanation on why he started talking to Anitha as Nilesh & told him that whatever maybe the situation that lieing was a sin he knew he had done a mistake of lieing which his mom never likes at all.
As his mom was also scolding Gopi for being part of this lie, Ahem knew it was wrong to accuse Gopi for she was not the one who agreed on this plan & infact she had questioned him on why he was lieing. In the past, one day Ahem got up late & was rushing out without breakfast & his mom asked if he knew if he was supposed to goto work early then why did not get up early, Gopi could not see her maaji scolding her Ahemji & took the blame on her that because he was teaching her late, he had slept late. Even though Ahem knew that it was not because of teaching Gopi that he got up late & only because he was working late, he had slept late & got up late & she took the blame just to support him. As his mom scolded her for that, he never supported or spoke in defense of her for it did not matter to him then. Latter during her recovery phase he had gotten late for a meeting at work because he was playing ludo with her. That was the 1st time Ahem stood to by to support Gopi in front of his mom saying it was not her mistake. Today Ahem could not stand by to see his mom scolding Gopi for no fault of hers, he immediately stood by her & supported his wife.
As his mom explained to Gopi & him on how a husband & wife are responsible for each other's actions & how if one of the spouse was doing a mistake then it was the responsibility of the other partner to correct the one who was doing the mistake & ensure they walk in the right path so that their relationship & life would always be in the right direction, it did not suprise Ahem or Gopi. After the revelation that she was an uneduated person & some one who was intrested in only in money, for Ahem that was the day he ended his marriage in his mind & heart with Gopi. She was not what he had wanted in his life partner & he could not see beyond her being a gawar. The relationship had no meaning to him & when he had to appear & perform duties as a husband & wife, it irritated Ahem for in his heart, mind & soul he felt decieved & cheated. After Kinjle's wedding he reminded his mom about her promise that she would send away Gopi from his life forever . But with Nani coming, he bought Gopi back & allowed her to occupy the same room as he was staying to give a false impression to the old lady that they were living as husband & wife.
After nani left he immediately wanted her to leave but his mom did not agree & he reluctantly agreed to allow Gopi stay in his home & his room but for him she was just another person whom he was sharing his room out of love & respect for his mom nothing more than that. From the point he stood by her to support her in her dream of getting eudcated, Ahem accepted his responsibility of a husband who was responsible for his wife. From then onwards his heart accepted her as his wife out of responsibility but as time passed by as he started to be with her, he observed her, he started to understand her, he started to care for her & as time passed by he was attacted to his wife both physically & emotionally for he saw her as a simple person who loved people unconditionally. He realised that she was a genuine person by heart & never could think about hurting anyone. He realised how much ever hate he metted on her, she absorbed all of it to in turn take care of each & everything related to him.
By spending time with her by allowing her into his life, the attraction slowly started to develop into love. Finally during her accident when he saw her battling for life he realised what she meant to him & how his life had no meaning without her. That was the point he realised she was his life, his wife & he felt responsible towards her. As she recovered he stayed by her side to nuture her back to complete health & with her around him he realised his life was complete. The day she went to her mami's place, he realised he could not live without her & the realisation dawned on him that he fell in love with his wife. As his feelings for his wife kept changing from responsibilty to love, Ahem had accepted his responsibility as a husband with the deep love he had for his wife. In his heart, mind & soul, she was his love, his wife.
For Gopi, the day she took back her wedding vows she gave up all her rights as his wife but deep down in her heart she still hoped & believed that there will come a day when her husband will accept her & love her as his wife. With this hope & support from her MIL, she learned & supported her husband in everything & fulfilled all the duties of a wife initially as a responsibility but as she saw her husband accepting her as his wife, she fulfilled all her duties of a wife with the deep love she felt for her husband .
With love for each other, Ahem & Gopi started to support each other as husband & wife in every turn of life. Let it be him taking care of her health or she taking care of his daily support, she sharing her concern about Jigar & Rashi's marriage & he sharing why his mom was angry with him, he asking her opinion or she sharing her opinion during the kite flying competion, he counselling her & trusting her when he witnessed her taking the blame for using Jigar's share of mangoes when he knew she did not do that or she being with him & taking care of everything which was worrying him as he felt guilty due to Anitha's condition to counselling him to not lie, both were supporting & understanding each other every moment as husband & wife. Hence hearing his mom counsel them about a husband & wife did not suprise them for as their hearts, minds & souls they were husband & wife & they are their for one another !!!
As his mom explained him how a wife & husband support each other when the other partner was doing wrong, Ahem immediately told his mom how Gopi, his wife at every turn reminded him to not to lie & to share the truth & how he was the one who had not listened to her. Ahem knew his Gopi fulfilled all the responsibilities of a wife even though he was the one who lacked behind... & he told his mom in pride that she counselled & guided him & just because he though not to mess it further, he did not listen to her counsel !!! In their relationship, Ahem has long forgotten his pride & is working on his relationship with his wife. He knows even if he shares his weakness or does things wrong, his wife will still be there for him to hold him & support him. Gopi's love built such deep confidence in him that with her he feels complete & that both are there to guide each other & he does not hold back to share the same in front of his mom or family members who were a witness to a different Ahem !!!
Ahem knew how deeply his wife loves his mom & the special bond they share. He knew Gopi was effected by what has happened because he had not listened to her counsel of sharing the truth. Though he was also hurt & feeling the pain of the truth which his mom told him, he was aware of the hurt & pain his wife was undergoing. Ahem loves his wife Gopi so much that at any point it is she, her happiness or sadness which comes before his own happiness & sadness which is in contrast to the past where only his happiness, his hurt bothered him. He cannot see her hurt & he put his hand on her shoulder with the right which comes with the love they share between themselves to tell her it will be alright, please do not worry, Im there to take care of it.
As Ahem saw his wife unable to decide which saree to wear for the pooja, he made a choice for her. His heart wanted to see her in the yellow saree as he knew she would look beautiful in that saree. As her husband he had pleased her by wearing the shirts & colours she selected for him & as his wife, he wanted her to get dressed for him by his choice. As she decided that she would wear his choice of saree & also remembering that it was his gift, it bought happiness to him that she enjoys the gifts he brings for her & he looked forward for the pooja when she would just get dressed for him !!!
Gopi's happiness knew no bounds as her husband selected a saree for her to wear. It gave her immense happiness that he was sharing his choices for her & she decided to get dressed in the saree he chose for her , just for him, to please him. His pleasure always bought her happiness & thinking about his reactions she blushed !!! With love flowing between them so strongly, will a small misunderstanding of a saree create ripples of a greater effect which will create misunderstanding between them & stop the flow of love or will the current of love be strong that they will overcome everything together becoming each others support & strength !!!
