This post is for Taniks.. My apologies for taking so much time Taniks.😳. But I was just caught up in something else..

We have had Gopi and Ahem being called the Ram-Sita jodi multiple times now. So what is speical that makes them qualified to be called thus? Does it symbolically represent something?

A Ram-Sita Jodi. When a couple is compared to Ram and Sita it is because the onlooker thinks
they are perfectly matched. But the deeper meaning is like Ram and Sita, the pair will also trust, love and support each other during good times and the bad.

Wise men and women know that a relationship is tested during testing times. The ones who support you to overcome a crisis are the ones who are true to their relationship. In a marriage this is the most important aspect. Trust and Support with love for the loved one..

For Gopi and Ahem, this has become life itself. Trust, respect, love said and unsaid,
their relationship overflows with all the above. Ramayan does not tell us that a husband and wife relationship will always be worry free and happy.. It teaches you that life can be a path of thorns.. Your conduct is the one that defines you as a person and your relationships.
Life is like that.. It throws a lot of different things at us.. Happiness, shock, surprises, sadness.. As a couple, it is the way these are handled that matters.

Ahem and Gopi's married life has been anything but roses.. Right from day one, Gopi has been
Sita.. Calm, patient, composed, loving, giving... Ahem is slowly becoming Ram, an ardent one
woman man, a person who will love Gopi till his last breath and no one else.. The beauty of
their relationship is that the underlying love and trust has been becoming stronger and
stronger as they face one adversity or another be it for the family or for their own personal self.

Like the divine pair, both have immense love for their family and are willing to sacrifice everything for the family's happiness.

Inspite of having to face a lot of demons, both in life via others and in their minds they choose to still trust and love each other. They support one another in times of trouble. They rescue one another at times..

So no wonder they were called a Ram-Sita jodi by Nilesh's grandmother and the panditji. No one is perfect but as a couple these two are learning and moving towards that perfection. Again, their path just got harder.. They now have some differences. But they still support one another without a question, implicitly and subtly.

Sita never questioned Ram as to why he chose to do what he did. Because Sita maiya knew her
husband. Similarly Gopi will not question Ahem on why he did what he did for Anitha. She
trusts him to do the right thing.

Ahem will be Ram for his Gopi. She knows that and trusts him. Whatever unease she has over
his feelings for her are again a phase in life they will cross together. He will make her secure in his love.

This togetherness even when they are apart is what makes them special just like the divine pair. Ram never stopped loving Sita and vice versa even when they were apart. A separation may not be physical, it can be in the mind too.. Gopi does not think Ahem loves her but she still loves him dearly. Ahem loves Gopi. He is just not there in confessing that. This thought separates them. Anitha is there as an added effect. But they are still together. Each looks out for the other's comfort and happiness.

Another endearing thing is the simplicity in their relation. Both are at the end of the day simple souls who do not want to hurt others. And simply they love each other. Unconditional love was what makes them a Ram-Sita Jodi. Unconditional as Gopi never put a condition for her love for her Ahemji. Ahem did not either. It just took him a small perspective change to see his wife for who she really is.. Even if Gopi is uneducated now, that perspective change would have made Ahem fall in love with her. Gopi is still the girl without proper education. But she is dearer to him than any other now.

Their marriage is becoming stronger because of the pain involved in scripting it cannot be broken easily. As a couple they are surely a Ram-Sita jodi made in heaven..😊

Aww Harini...this is for u for writing this beautiful piece! 🤗
That is exactly what they have become...A Ram-Sita Jodi in every sense of the word!
Love is not something that has to be spoken verbally but can also be verbalized through the eyes...that is where Ahem speaks volume of his love for Gopi...and u have so perfectly illustrated that it is also through the mind that it can be assayed.

I remember in Ramayan when Ram met Sita in pushpa vatika, they both didn't say anything, but the love that was being messaged across was reaching each other's souls.

The fact that one can see their love by looking at the moon, reminds of when Ahem and Gopi were missing each other and Gopi went to the window and she was gazing at the moon's face and moonlight to try fill the longing she had for her Ahemji.

As u said, they are not called Ram-Sita Jodi for nothing...each adversity they have faced was a test of their relationship, and this time too, they will come out of this Agnipariksha together!

Love is their between them, but like u said, their minds are separating them from confronting the issue, but subconsciously their hearts know the truth of their love which has begun already.

Was feeling so sad today...and now u have put up such a fantastic piece...I'm smiling again...thank u!😃

Harini that was fabulous ⭐️ 👏. I was on the forum earlier but things started turning sour and logged off. Now I log on, this is the first post I read and you have put a smile back on my face 😊, Thank You 🤗.
Ahem and Gopi are truly a Ram-Sita Jodi... Just like in the Ramayan, there were many hurdles they had to face but no matter what, knowing, trusting and believing in the love between husband and wife, nothing could touch Ram and Sita, and this is the same with Ahem and Gopi. They have many hurdles and obstacles in their way of love, but knowing, trusting and believing in each other, nothing will be able to tear them apart. This will in fact make their bond of love even stronger ❤️

AWWW Awesome post Harini...LOVED IT!!👏

Ahem & Gopi as Ram & Sita👍🏼...OMG... there are so many similarities...Ram gradually fell in love with Sita and the feelings that Rama had for Sita were well reasoned too😳...just like Ahem's reason for falling in love with Gopi😳. Sita was always in Rams thoughts and Ram was always in Sita's heart...Just like perfect GOHEM.
Sita loved Rama twice as much as he loved her...there goes our Gopi😛. Sita was able to tell Ram all her thoughts and whatever was in her heart. just like Gopi ji. Besides that, Sita was able to read Rama's innermost thoughts...Our Gopi dear has almost done PHD in reading Ahem's thoughts 😳 Thanks to the demons of society...Ram had to put hapless Sita through the agni pariksha... Sita passed the 'fire test' to prove her purity, but still the society compelled Ram to abandon her. Was this right?? 😕 Or he is pardoned as he was GOD. Doing the right thing is always not possible...one has to flow the with society as we humans live in a society.
But Ram & Sita faced all the hurdles together ...they were bound by unconditional love, just like Gohem.

Harini, you are so right...If we don't change our perspectives on things, nothing in our lives changes either. The day Ahem changed his perspective and adjusted his expectations
then he learnt how to love unconditionally--everything around him changed, as if by magic!
Anita is one of the trouble...in real life we are faced with multifarious problems everyday...i feel these kind of troubles knits the mussels of a couple better and after the trouble and problem better understanding prevails.

Thank you Tina🤗
You are true on all points... But I do think Ram loved Sita equally but that is another discussion😆
Was he pardoned for letting her go? I don't think so.. That is still considered as a flaw on his part till now..
But even then both loved and trusted each other. Sita understood the reasons behind Ram's decision and Ram knew Sita's trust in him and the compulsion.
It is said that Ram did what he did and accepted the accusations that come along with it so that no one points their finger at his Sita ever for the centuries and generations to come and if you see history his sacrifice did bear fruit😊
@Bold is exactly what I wanted to say.. We are humans with all flaws. But as a couple it is the way we face situations that makes us learn and becoming better. Gopi and Ahem are doing just that. Everything painful will lead to happiness.

Wow that was a Fantastic and beautiful post Harini👏⭐️\

Thank You🤗

Why are couples compared to Divine couples in Hinduism..?

One thing I appreciate about the Hindu ceremony is that bride and groom come to the altar as God and Goddess, in human form. In many parts of India the bride is considered Lakshmi, Goddess of Fortune, and groom is her consort Vishnu, the Great Preserver. ----Rev. Laurie Sue Brockway

In Hinduism, marriage ceremony is a divine celebration, where the bride and groom are considered as Lakshmi Narayan...

Married couple are referred as Ram-Sita, Shiv-Parvathi, Shiv-Gauri or Laksmi-Narayan, by the elders.they bless that every couple has the same facets of relation which the divine couple had.. They bless the couples to have the same unconditional love, the unbound trust, the understanding , the loyalty and the passion and compassion of the divine couple..

and most importantly it is to bless the couple to be one, in mind, heart and soul.. as the married couple comes together their names will also be joined. and they will be said in one breath, just like Ram-Sita, Shiv-Parvathi, Shiv-Gauri or Laksmi-Narayan, so are Gopi-Ahem...

Gopi and Ahem , both like Ram-Sita are introvert, shy, love their family immensely, there love is unconditional. their trust is unbound, their understanding, their friendship is paramount..

Together Gopi and Ahem will face all the trials and tribulations of life just as Sita-Ram faced during their time,..

Ramayan:

- Ram is always accused of not trusting SIta and asking her to go through the Agnipareeksha.. did Ram not trust Sita? If yes, why did he order her to go through the angnipareeksha

Rama has immense trust in sita.. and sita knew about Ram's trust in her . she did not question his decision since she trusts Lord Rama and that whatever Ram does is according to Dharma..

Ram, the King showed dharma or act of righteousness by ordering Sita to go through the test. he wanted to show that the Rama Rajyam .. Rule of Rama is based on Dharma and righteousness..he showed people that all are equal in the kingdom... Sita being the queen is also treated the same way as any common man in the kingdom of Rama..
