I would have to disagree Sheila. I think it fits in exactly with Koki's character.
You see at the end of the day the Modis or should I say one Aham Modi was responsible for the break-up of Anita's marriage. As such he and the Modi's are responsible to see that the effects of this on her are minimised.
Koki is doing the responsible thing by accepting the fault and attempting to rectify it. This really has nothing to do with GoHam and will have no effect on their relationship. And if it does than they really didn't have a relationship in the first place.
The rest of the Modi's will support Koki because she is doing the right thing by Anita.
