Ahem was beyond shock on what had happened. He knew people around him were misunderstanding him & Anitha being together but he did not know how he could handle & resolve the situation. The bride's father kept on accusing him & Anitha yet he did not have a word to say as he regretted the accident which had happened. His family supported him yet he could not justify what had happened & felt responsible for all the confusion which was prevaling. When his mom mentioned that he was married, that was the only thing which sounded right for him. Yes he was married in his heart , mind & soul to just Gopi & all his thoughts were just filled by her & none else. Even in his dreams he could never even think of hurting his Gopi !!! Ahem's heart truly believed that Gopi knows him & will always trust him & his love for her, & that was the reason his heart did not worry him on what she would feel for he knew she trusted him deeply. But what Ahem failed to realise is that in his pain of losing Anitha he had forgotten that Gopi also felt the pain of losing her love, her Ahemji !!!
Gopi saw her Ahemji in the hand's of Anitha & was shocked. Though the circumstances were showing her that it could be real that they were together as they love each other, yet her heart told her Ahemji was not that kind of person !!! She trusted him & knew he will never do such a low thing. For her, he was an upright person who never did things on a sly & stayed true to his values. She was hurt when people around were accusing her husband & Anitha for falling low. She was pained by his hurt as he stood there hearing the bridegroom's father accusing him of falling low.
Gopi was observing all what was happening & deep down hoped that none of this was true. She saw Anitha being effected by what had happened & just about to faint. Even before she could react, she saw her Ahemji hold & support Anitha with full of care. As she saw him being concerned for Anitha & lifting her in his arms & walking out, that was the point she saw the love her husband had for Anitha & that broke her heart !!! She knew now for sure that her husband loved only Anitha & none else & his heart just belonged to her. This reality confused her, troubled her & pained her as she realised that she was never his love !!!
Ahem was concerned about Anitha as he felt responsible for what has happened. Because of him she was once hurt in the past & yet now because of him, her marriage was cancelled. This were the only thoughts which were going thru him. He was cut off from the present & he felt guilty of how things turned out to be !!! He did want any members of his family to stay back & undergo the discomfort for his mistake. As Gopi offered to stay back he rejected the offer as he can never see her being troubled or in any discomfort that 2 especially because of him !!! He knew it was tough being in an hospital & his wife was not requrired to go thru this with him. But as his mom rejected his decision, he agreed to let her stay back. As Anitha's family was troubled by how they could handle this situation as they had to leave, he asked them not to worry & as he would take care of her. He saw his wife supporting him in his decision & ensuring Anitha's family feels better that she was being taken care off !!! Ahem just hoped deep down Anitha was fine & was worried for her well being & as his family called, he saw his wife taking care of his family with care & addressing their concerns & promising them that she will keep them informed !!! Ahem at that point felt so greatful that she, his wife was there with him supporting him & taking care of everything not letting anything effect him. He felt peaceful as his wife stood by him taking care of his worries & becoming his strength not even for a minute questioning him about anything !!! His heart relaxed as he saw her being concerned for him & he felt greatful that she , his Gopi was there for him !!! It was a heartfelt thanks which he shared with her for she took away all his burdens from his shoulders by just her presence !!!
Gopi even though hurt could never think of leaving her Ahemji alone.She knew he was hurt & was under deep pain & he needed her support & she wanted to be there as his support. The future though looked bleak for her, yet it was her Ahemji who was important for her & she could not stop her heart from reaching out to him. As Anitha's family & her family were worried , she ensured they were taken care & she like her Ahemji could not see people worried !!! She knew her Ahemji was worried about Anitha & she was worried about him. In the past during their initial phases of their marriage when he had hated her the most, she still supported him & took care of him & his comfort was her primary concern. During the initial phases of their marriage before they moved out to stay separately when she knew he could not stand her, he was once suffering from cold, she very quietly, massaged his head to make him feel better though she was scared he will scold her if he wakes up !!! Once during Kinjle's wedding she saw him being irritated with dust & was sneezing & though she knew he will not like her doing things for him but as his comfort was her primary concern she got up & heated water for him to take steam so that he could feel better !!! Even with all the pain tugging her, she still can never see him in pain & she will take in any pain to see him happy !!! She did not bother about future & hoped Anitha was fine as she somewhere felt she was also responsible for what has happened to her. She realised over the course of the evening the love shared between her Ahemji & Anitha & that she had come in between them !!!
What Gopi does not know is that when she had an accident, Ahem was devastated for she was not conscious at that time. For what she sees now was what she saw Ahem feeling for her when she was awake. She sees his care for Anitha & the realisation that her Ahemji was never her's is strengthening with every moment. Ahem has taken the responsibility of Anitha as he feels responsible for what has happened in the past & present. He wants to ensure that she is fine. But what he has not realised is the feelings of his wife who is hurt deeply by seeing his pain. For him, his Gopi knows him & that is all that matters but what he has not realised is that in a marriage, communication is important. With the present confusion, he is unable to think & has assumed she is fine. He has not realised yet she is observing him keenly & coming to conclusions about him & their relationship !!! But with Anitha needing more support than before, will he be able to realise what his Gopi is going thru & calm her troubled heart & explain what were his thoughts during the evening or will it be too late !!!
Me off for a movie !!! Could not leave it to late night as Im not sure when I will be back & I would not have felt peaceful postponing writing it . Had to write it before stepping out 😊 !!!
