Ok so this is something I would like to see on the show as far as the Anita/Rashi/GoEm track is concerned. I am not predicting anything or this is not a spoiler...I am not privileged to that info. This is my take on what could possibly happen. So enjoy folks and I hope this entertains you as much as thinking about it has entertained me...
Ahem and Gopi had just arrived home and Ahem had not uttered a single word to Gopi. It did not bother Gopi as she has had the time of her life today with her Ahemji. He was so sweet to her and the way he held her, she felt like she was in heaven. She enjoyed every second of it and she was unhappy to have it be over...Ahem on the other hand was confused he did not understand why Anita had to be back in his life. After so much time he had finally come to terms that he never loved Anita. Then he thought of Gopi and he smiled. She was everything to him. She was his first and last love. If he had loved Anita, he would have fought for her with his mom. But he just accepted Gopi. And that was another thing...he had accepted Gopi as his wife, then what was his hesitation in making his life with her from the beginning? He felt like his world was coming crashing down on him at full speed. Gopi had just come out of her shell and was starting to be back to normal with him, and then Anita had to come back. He did not want Gopi to go back into her shell at the thought that Anita and he were still in love. He knew she would do anything to make him happy. He was the luckiest man if ever there was one.
The next day Ahem was getting ready when Gopi came in the room with his tea. She looked so beautiful. He could hardly imagine not looking at her every morning. Looking at her was more rewarding than any tea or breakfast he would have. She was his guiding light and she was his love and his life. He smiled at her when their eyes met. He could see there was a hint of sadness in her eyes, and thought it must still have to do with him and the Holi incident. He would have to deal with that later. He needed to tell her about Anita and do it before she finds out another way. Just as he was about to talk to her his phone dinged with a txt message from Anita. He looked up to see Gopi, but she had already left the room. He was a little sad about that. He opened his txt and Anita had written that she needed to talk to him about something very important. He responded where and when...and she txt'ed back that she would come to his office today if it was alright. He wrote back ok around lunch time was fine...
Ahem went downstairs to the puja and then breakfast. He saw Gopi had her head lowered and was trying to avoid looking at him. He also noticed Rashi had a smirk on her face while looking at Gopi. He wondered what that was all about. He would have to find out tonite. He was getting late, and if he was to meet with Anita then he needed to get extra work done before that. Ahem bid his family Jai Shree Krishna and left for his office and to confront the blast from his past...He was not ready. But he needed to do this in order to live a peaceful life with Gopi and not have any further disturbances.
It was almost lunch time and as always Gopi had sent lunch on time and it smelled like heaven. He loved her cooking and he had to admit, there were times even when he did not like her, that her cooking made him want to kiss her fingers one at a time...But that was something for the future. Now he had to get ready for Anita. He wondered if she would be having lunch with him. He wondered if she liked this type of home cooked meal, or if she still preferred restaurants over home cooking. He did not wait, he opened the tiffin and noticed that Gopi had sent extra lunch for him today. He wondered how she knew that he would have company today. He did not even mention it to anyone. He was in deep thought when his office phone rang and the front desk said there was a lady named Anita here to see him. He told the desk to send her to his office and then Ahem shut the tiffin and straightened himself to greet Anita. When Anita came in the office, she said her hello's from far away and that was just fine with Ahem. Anita looked around and said not much has changed has it. Ahem followed her gaze around his office and said he does not like changes too much. He then realized what he said and changed the subject.
Ahem and Anita were seated on the sofa in his office. Anita was looking at the tiffin and asked Ahem...Do you eat food from home everyday? Ahem looked at her and then the tiffin and said...Yes, Gopi is a good cook, and I like her cooking. Anita then let her gaze fall on Ahem's desk and saw that Ahem did not have a picture of Gopi there. She inquired about it and Ahem said I have her photo in my phone and no one else needs to see it. Anita asked if she could see it and after a lot of thinking Ahem agreed and showed her the photo he took the other day. He aimed his cell phone towards the photo frame of the Holi photo and took the picture to always keep it with him. Anita looked and saw how happy they looked and smiled and said she is beautiful Ahem. She is such a traditional woman. Ahem didn't know how to answer because she knew that is the kind of woman his mom wanted him to marry. So he kept quite and asked what did she want to talk to him about. Anita got up and walked towards the desk and then turned around and said Ahem I came here to tell you that for a long time I was holding so much hatred for you, but now I don't hate you. I don't want anything from you. I am happy where I am and I have found someone that loves me just the way I am. And I love him as much too. Ahem it took me a long time to come to terms with his love, but now that I have I am very happy and I wish the same for you. And another thing Ahem, I think you should know Kinjal knows I am here, we ran into each other and she told me about Umang. I want you to know I had nothing to do with it. I also found out about how much Umang had a hand in helping Kinjal in trying to separate you and your wife. I am glad to see you stuck by her. Ahem had lost his anger and Anita could see she said something she should not have...
Ahem angrily got up and went to Anita and said, you think that things are fine with me and my wife? I have treated her so badly all because of Umang and his ideas of making my wife look bad in front of me. I have insulted her and I have made her feel like she is nothing more than the dirt under my shoe. And you think she is fine. Do you have any idea how much I have hurt her. Then Ahem realized he was almost screaming at Anita and stopped himself before he regretted hurting her further. He took a calming breath and said Anita, things are not fine with me and my wife. I have told her in no less words that I hate her...among other hurtful things. And now when I have finally realized I love her with all my heart, you show up and I am afraid I am going to loose my wife completely. She is everything to me. Anita, I don't know if I could breath if she were to leave me or if she were to go back into that shell I had put her in. I cannot handle her sad face anymore and I need to know why else you are here. Are you planning on hurting Gopi? Or is your brother after her happiness again. Is he trying to hurt her? Anita had tears in her eyes and said Ahem, I promise you I don't know anything. Umang and I have a strained relationship due to all this. I am only here to say to you I am sorry for trying to hurt you and your mother and I am also forgiving you for hurting me and that is all. Saying this Anita left and Ahem stood there with tears in his eyes thinking what had he done. He had single handedly hurt Gopi to a point of madness and yet she was always taking care of him and smiling at him and trying everything to make him happy.
He picked up his phone and rang her cell, and waited. No answer. He tried the home phone. Meethi picked up and said Gopi bhabhi was in her room resting, as she was not feeling well. He asked to talk to his mother...And when Kokila came on the phone she said...Ahem, Gopi vau has a fever and we have called a doctor and he should be on his way. Ahem said Mom I am coming home and hung up before Kokila could protest. When Ahem reached home the doctor had already left and the family was back to its routine. Ahem went directly to his room to see Kokila sitting next to a sleeping Gopi. When Kokila saw Ahem she got up and went to Ahem and said the doctor thinks she is just over worked and he has asked her to rest. Ahem please make sure she does not come downstairs to work. Keep her here under any circumstances. Ahem just nodded yes while his eyes were still looking at Gopi and his heart broke. She looked just like she did in the hospital when she was injured. She looked so frail and so week. He shut the door and locked after his mom left and went to go and change his clothes. When he came out he saw her stirring and was about to go to her when he heard the knock on the door. It was Rashi and she wanted to see Gopi. She was trying to pry her way inside. But Ahem was adamant that Gopi should not be disturbed and shooed her away. He then saw Meethi coming to his room with the tea and so he took the tea from her and shut the door. Not allowing anyone to come inside to disturb his wife. He then went to put the tea down on the table and went to Gopi.
He sat down next to her and put his hands on her forehead and felt her to be warm to the touch. He then put his hand over hers. Her hands were resting on her stomach and he could feel her starting to realize his touch. She slowly opened her eyes and their eyes met and held for a long time. She then tried to get up, but Ahem was faster, he went to her and held her by the shoulders and helped her sit up and lean on the head board. He then sat down next to her as asked her how she was doing. Gopi smiled and said I am fine. He said I was worried about you when I heard you were sick so I came home. Gopi looked at the time and said I am sorry you had to go thru so much just for me. Ahem felt his heart swell at her concern and then he took her hand in his and held them and said I like being here taking care of you. Gopi I need to tell you something and I don't think you are going to like it. But you need to know everything. I don't want to hide anything from you. Gopi said what is it Ahemji? Ahem then told her all about seeing Anita during the watch exchange and also today at his office. He also told her about their conversations. He then looked at Gopi and saw she had tears in her eyes and asked why was she crying. Gopi looked at Ahem and said I always knew this day would come. Ahemji, are you ok with her getting married to someone else? Ahem looked at her shocked for a moment and then said...I have no problem. I am happy for her as she is happy for me. She thinks you are beautiful and you know what...I agree you are beautiful. Gopi looked down and blushed bright pink. Ahem again felt his heart swell. This was the first time he has seen her smile reach her eyes. He then said Gopi you need to know something else...and saying that Ahem went closer to her and took her in his arms and held her. After the initial hesitation he felt Gopi's arms go around him. It was heaven to feel her hold him. He then nuzzled her neck and stayed there taking in her scent and the feel of her soft skin. He felt her heart start racing and knew that his was probably racing just as fast.
After a good long time, Ahem released her and said...Gopi, I am madly in love with you and I cannot live without you. Gopi, please promise me you won't ever leave me...Ahem looked on at Gopi pleadingly and Gopi could only stare at him and then looked down and turned a darker shade of pink. She then put her head on his shoulders and said Ahemji, I love you too. And I am the luckiest woman in the world, I have you in my life. Ahem then held her again and said Pagli, I am the lucky one...samjee. And then they both smiled. Ahem then released her a little to lean his forehead to hers and said Gopi, please tell me why you are so sad all the time. Gopi lost her smile and told him what Rashi had told her in the kitchen after the batwara incident. Ahem wanted to go and strangle Rashi, but instead told Gopi...From now on, please tell me everything you and Rashi talk about. Please Gopi. Gopi was a little confused but agreed. Then she smiled at him and said Ahemji, I will bring you your tea. Ahem pointed to the tea cup on the table and said it is already here and besides you have strict orders from my mom to not go and do any work. That means you sit here with me just the way we are. Ahem then leaned into Gopi and in the gentlest of ways, kissed her on the lips and asked her to tell him again...so Gopi said I love you Ahemji...Ahem said I love you too Gopi. I love you too...He then sat next to her and held her and said you need to rest for now...but Gopi the day you feel better I am going to make you mine forever...Gopi blushed harder and hid her face in his chest and said Ahemji...Ahem then kissed the top of her head and said...Gopi, all my dreams have come true so from now on we are going to work on making all your dreams come true...ok..Gopi and Ahem then kissed some more and held each other and talked about all their dreams and want and needs to make sure they got it right this time...
I am not too happy with how the story went...you can blame the million phone calls I got...But I hope you enjoyed it anyways...😃
