There is something about Ahem today - he could not get enough of Gopi. He wanted more and more of her but other family matters got in the way.
He has done the same things that he has been doing everyday when he gets home - looking for her and waiting for her to bring him his green tea - but today was different.
That dream would have been haunting Ahem's mind all day. He would have been scraping the bottom of his memory bank to locate that missing piece to his puzzle of the happenings on the Holi afternoon. Seeing the powder of colour in the air triggered part of his lost memory - him playing Holi with her in the house. He was quick to remove any fear she had shown by taking hold of her hand, just like he did when he went to bring her back home having missed her a lot. With just this memory, he looked on at her walking away, wondering what else did he do with her?
Upon giving her the medicine, her tears did not go unnoticed by him. He called her back and pacified her with his gentle, calming voice while her cry reduced to a sob. At the same time, his body language reciprocated so he stood up, walked up close to her and and wiped her tear away with his thumb. His words and actions felt as though it was the most natural thing to do.
His final action moved her to look on at him and him to do the same at her. His final words were even more telling. This moment felt as though he finally worked out what it was that removed her smile from her face and sparkle from her eyes. He genuinely smiled on at her with his eyes smiling too when she thanked and smiled back at him. For the first time he really enjoyed what he did and it made him feel whole and warm inside.
Ahem's heart is overflowing from the brim with his love that he has shown her and told her in no uncertain means that he is there with her. His words are becoming more meaningful and sweeter in sound for Gopi's ears and heart to take in. His actions are resolutely for Gopi. She has become his object of desire, want and love. Today's actions have removed many remaining barriers making the path clear for his heart to meet with hers.
The day is not over yet - still to come as per SBS video clip, the photo frame scene but we can celebrate with drinks.
So with his heart in this state, will he be an any condition to hold back his thoughts or feelings for her?
A thing to note in today's Ahem and love:
* When they returned from Switzerland Kokila asked Ahem how can his heart be made of a stone when he let Gopi get lost, today that heart has completely melted that it flows throughout his body leaving the ends of his hair, fingers and toes tingling.
