Let us announce Diya Aur Baati Hum as # 1 show of this week with 5.6 TRPs, followed by Saath Nibhana Saathiya with 5.0 TRPs.

This week Star Plus launched their new show Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein which opened up with a descent TRPs of average 1.9 TRPs.

Star Plus still maintains its # 1 position with 297 GRP and saw a rise in its GRP this week. Again this week Sony TV follows Star Plus with 210 GRPs and saw a rise compared to last week. Colors still maintains the third position with 193.

PS: The ratings are never dormant and there are unexpected changes every week. Let us see how the graph changes for the shows next week. Keep watching this space for more.

GEC Ratings: Star Plus consolidates its lead with a gain in week 7

Star Plus gained by 25 GRPs

Star Plus consolidated its lead with a 25 GRP rise to reach 298 GRPs in week 7 '12.

Sony's GRP gain by one point saw it open up a gap with third placed Colors and fourth placed Zee as the two channels lost GRPs. Sony ended the week with 210 GRPs, while Colors ended with 193 (dip of 15 GRPs) and Zee with 179 (dip of 13 GRPs).

Sab lost one GRP to end at 141. Imagine TV ended the week at 58 GRPs, followed by DD1 who ended at 45 GRPs, one ahead of Sahara One.

The top ten hindi GEC programmes of week 7 were:

Weekly average TVR is increased for Wk07 (TVR 5.0) compared to that of Wk06 (TVR 4.8)..

Thats a good sign..

Rangmunch.TV is back with the TRP Rating for the week 13th to 19th February 2012. Let's see what the weekly report card suggests about our favourite shows on Television.

HITS of the Week!

Diya aur Baati Hum on Star Plus continues to rule the TRP chart with a TRP rating of 5.60. After Bhabho its Maasa who is drawing the audience to watch the show.

Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus has garnered a TRP rating of 4.97 and manages to stay on 2nd position.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon on Star Plus continues to climb the TRP chart with a TRP rating of 4.59 this week. With the Arnav Khushi's sudden marriage and all the angst in their relationship is surely going to hike the TRPs in the forth coming weeks.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has further slipped down to 4th position with a TRP rating of 3.96. Let's hope the forth coming twists brings a rise in the TRP rating.

Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus have climbed up the chart with a TRP rating of 3.80. Manvi's cancer revelation and the upcoming drama will surely engage the audiences further.

This week two shows share the 6th position on the TRP Chart. CID on Sony and Uttaran on Colors have garnered a TRP rating of 3.74.

Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television has secured 7th position on the TRP chart with a rating of 3.56.

Balika Vadhu on Colors has dipped down to 8th position this week with a TRP rating of 3.46. Let's hope that Anandi Jagat and Gouri trio pulls up the TRPs in the coming week.

Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV secured its place on the TRP chart this week. It achieved a TRP rating of 3.34.

Bade Acche Lagte Hai is back on the TRP chart of top 10 shows with a TRP rating of 3.13 this week. Audiences have once again given their verdict for Ram and Priya Jodi. The more the makers will bring them closer the more the TRPs will increase.

^^ thanks for sharing!! SNS is at number 2!! actually there isnt much difference in ratings.. maybe we will be no 1 again.. the other shows like dabh and ipkknd are close since they have really dramatic tracks!! hope SNS cvs show an interesting track or sadly, the ratings will drop more 😔

Star Plus adds 25 GRPs

MUMBAI: Leading Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) from Star Network bouquet, Star Plus, has gained 25 GRPs in the week ended 18 February.

As per TAM data (C&S, 4+, HSM), the channel has clocked 298 GRPs (gross rating points), up from 273 GRPs in the previous week. The addition of the points can be attributed to the telecast of 'mahaepisode' of Star Plus' fiction property Yeh Rishta Kyaa Kehlata Hai on 18 February that recorded 3.7 TVR.

Star Plus also aired Bodyguard on Sunday that registered 1.8 TVR. The top fiction shows of the channel have also seen an improvement in performance.

Meanwhile, Sony Entertainment Television has maintained its second rank, even though it added just one GRP to end the week with 210 GRPs. The channel is expected to show a rise in ratings next week as it telecast Filmfare Awards on 19 February.

However, Colors and Zee TV lost eyeballs and closed the week with 193 GRPs (last week 208) and 179 GRPs (last week 202) respectively. Both the channels slipped below the 200-GRP mark.

Colors had added 18 GRPs last week with the telecast of special programme Umang, while Zee TV had a boost of over 32 GRPs on the back of Zee Cine Awards 2012.

Sony's second GEC, Sab, lost one GRP to clock 141 GRPs while Star Network's sibling channel Life OK lost 9 GRPs to end the week with 78 GRPs (last week 87).

Imagine TV with 58 GRPs (last week 57) is next in the ladder.
