I was thinking when watching "this woman, meaning koki, she was happy when Ahem was insulting Jigar, saying to him that if he comes to work or not it makes little difference, she was getting off on that sort of talk, that her son was hard working and Jigar was not" Why else would she frowning to see them getting along and hugging instead she should have a pleased expression not a frown.

She wanted her son to remain like her, always taunting people.

I didn't like that either. It was her way of displacing her anger and she blamed Gopi for it. Now, Gopi knows that her MIL is upset, so she'll probably take the blame for everything tomorrow (as she tries to save Ahem). :((
