Great analysis Swasthi.Ahem was much calmer today, he has come to terms with everything, but still doesn't know how to make her comfortable. Her current fear I am sure reminds him of the time he slapped her, this is when she started fearing him more.He did his best to make her feel comfortable but she has not yet realized that there was nothing to fear anymore. He decided to step back and not overwhelm her and thought he should wait until she was asleep before going to the room. A big difference here, in the past he wouldn't have give her comfort a thought but now days she comes first in everything.Unfortunately for him things may get complicated because his mom is thinking that he and Gopi may have argued, he will need to think quick to rectify the situation.I hope he takes advantage of his shaving wound to reduce some of her fear. He should make her tend to him so she is forced to be close to him and once she sees that he is not going to blast her for the accidental kiss she may start to relax around him again.Now that he realizes how much she fears him, he needs to work on making up for those past deeds to win her trust.

It is apparent that he considers her comfort first and foremost before his, a far cry from his in the past. He has now brought himself to a point where what was his room is no longer his but her room. This tells just how much of space he has given her - physically (in the room and cupboard), mentally (in his thoughts), emotionally (in his heart) and otherwise.
His mum is massively sharp and alert to these matters and has already anticipated something. She may use this to draw them closer. Lots to look forward.
