With his mom questioning everyone in the family regarding the Pigeon & finally narrowing down her search to Rashi because of the conversation during lunch...he knew that Gopi could take the blame on herself...so many times in the past...even during the kite flying time even if it was his fault, she immediately jumped to take the blame & save him...he knew she would also do that for her sister Rashi...With his mom very angry, he knew he had to do something to get her anger in control...so he 1st took it on to him...because he knew his mom will not take out her anger on him as much as she does on others...& slowly he revealed the entire truth...He knew that thou his mom may be angry she will appreciate if truth is spoke...& the anger will come down...
As expected it did happen & his mom allowed Gopi to take the bird into the garden...his knew that Gopi would not be happy & his reaction gave away...as Gopi was not convinced that the poor bird be left in the garden...she tried to make her point...the 1st second he was suprised but as he listened to her he was convinced...she made a very simple but strong point...that only people who are yours care for you...unknowingly did she trigger a thought process in him...it seems she has realised & thinks Ahem has hers & thats the reason she had taken care of him all thru...did he realise that she has realised the change in him when he took care of her...thou she does not show it out, she is slowly understanding her husband & his changes...so will this make him think on what is stopping her from letting him know that she is understanding him?? His mom realised it as soon as Gopi said that about only people who are yours care for you & she looked at him...
As Gopi spoke he absorbed her true nature where she genuinely cares for everything around her...he also liked that fact that after everything Gopi had thanked his mom...He was happy as his mom agreed because he knew that he Gopi will be happy...he continued to look on her as she along with Rashi went ahead to take care of the bird...She has given him a hope that all is not lost as he felt when he was sure the teddy was for him but latter realised it was not for him...Will he take this opportunity that she has given him to think in moving their relationship forward...Will he think over what Gopi had mentioned at a latter time like when she spoke about family during the teddy gifting time is what we have to wait & watch !!!
