Doubt- Is this really a saas-bahu show?

Correct me if am wrong, but I can't see anything which can be called as saas-bahu characteristic in this serial now a days except that koki call gopi as bahu….

1. Mothers asking their sons to perform well in a kite competition so as not to lose like they are giving some board exams.
2. Pigeons all around mm and I thought the producer of this show is reshmi Sharma not menakagandhi.
3. Two Couples are living in mm for the past two years but no MIL is interested in granddaughters.

Worst part is are we seeing the serial in star plus or cartoon network because when urmi was changing the lottery ticket, I thought am watching tom n jerry and jerry is fooling tom.
