Hi everyone on the forum. I am new to the forum. I never watched the show regularly. I used to catch glimpses of it from youtube and only scns of Gopi and Ahem. Actually i can't stand shows that drag so never watched this one although i like the actress playing Gopi. She is cute. I couldn't stand the arrogant Ahem and Gopi being a doormat. Now there seems to be a change in Ahem so i caught some of the latest scns. But though i get the gist of the show I'd like to know a bit more details about the character and relationships. Can anyone please give a me a brief of what the story is. mainly answer some of these questions plz.

1) Why did Ahem marry Gopi if he wanted and educated wife? How did the marriage come about?

2) Does Ahem's mother like Gopi or hates her (i can't tell)

3) Why does Rashi hate Gopi?

and finally how did the development in Ahem and Gopi's relationship come about. How can Ahem and Gopi spend a year with each other without so much as a friendship happening between them.

Question 2, Ahem's mother aka Kokila really love Gopi like her own daughter. But she is very strict and principle..that's why u feel she is a bit harsh...

for the rest...let's the other members answer for u..

The awnser to your following questions:

1. Before marriage,Ahem had a girlfriend called Anita,his mum who he loves,respects and constantly listens to like a puppy told him he was getting married to a girl,for his mothers happiness he accepted but wasn't very interested in her,he assumed she was educated but later on,after marriage he finds out she's illeterate,slaps her and doesn't consider Gopi as his wife..so you see he was a bi jerk but he's slowly changing😆

2.Ahem's mother (Kokila) LOVES Gopi😆,Just sometimes she's really strict with her but she really does love her Gopi vahu😉

3.Raashi has hated Gopi from the beggining of the seriel, assume its because her mother found Gopi an extra mouth to feed and a real burden and made her do the housework and treated Gopi more like a slave so like mother like daughter😡

4. There were Gohem scenes between the seriel,some bits and bobs but the actual change was when Gopi wanted to be educated and for that she went to school,Raash did a trick (kalakari) in which it was seen Gopi as cheating when she never,Koki was MAD but Gopi told the truth and was crying to Ahem who supported her and personally started to teach her,after this he discovered Gopi is simple and nice and has started to care/respect her but he's really slow,friendship or maybe love has started to develop between the two however Ahem is still a bit uncomfortable around her..

There are some scns in the show where Gopi is hiding her face from Ahem. What was that about?

I think that was after Raashi made Gopi wash Ahem's laptop with soap,Ahem was furious and insulted her badly,he complained to his mom and everyone in the household knew he officially hated Gopi, Kokila said she would handle the situation,she made Gopi take back her vows and whenever Ahem would enter the room,she would use her pallu to hide her face because she didn't want to make him mad by showing her face..

Gopi's had a HARD life..😭
