How long?

This is the first Indian series I have ever followed so my question is, how long do these series last? Its going so slow! What is the average length? My family said it could go on for years!!!!

there are show which go for even 7 to 8 yrs. it depends on the TRP and the relationship between the channel and the production house.

but i want saathiya to go on for ever and ever... ......forever

and then leads will fall in love and romance take place-for another 6 months

then their bachas come-pregnancy track run for another 6 months

and Kids goes to school it takes first leap here-this track will run for another 6 months

then their kids grows up and the next generation leap will be introduced-- this is for another 7 or 8 months

and then they will fall in love with some one but gets married to vamp/villain

and the cycle continues from the beginning
