I sort of like Gopi with her pallu as her face is framed nicely with it and makes her look like a married woman...also her back isn't exposed when the pallu is up so more decent too.

But in the past we have noticed Aham's guard comes up when she pulls the pallu up, like mango plucking scene, he was holding her to him (her back to his front) but she pulled away and took the pallu over her head, he immediately put his guard up. However, recently we noticed he likes it now when she pulls the pallu up as she has recognised his in the room, so he likes it that she is aware of him, so it's a way of respecting him.

But we know from last year when Kinjal was still engaged to the mehtas they were playing dandiya at home and Gopi was dropping the sticks and trying to keep the pallu on her head at the same time, also in the dandiya competition Aham took the pallu off her head and lifted her chin up to look at him (so charmingly...😳)...so with the dandiya competion coming up (just a prediction at this stage) will Aham tell Gopi "you don't have to wear the pallu anymore in my presence" or will he leave it afterall sometimes she pulls it up and it stays on (because they pause the tape to pin it on...😉) and he likes her respecting his presence and wants everyone in the room to know yes I have arrived and my wife is aware of it.

What are your thoughts on Gopi's pallu?

I agree Nafisa she looks absolutely gorgeous with her pallu so I don't want to see it completely disappear however she looks amazing without it too. So I do think it is time for her to not have her pallu on in front of Ahem it sort of outs a bit of a barrier up between them.

We need all barriers down.

She should have the pallu on when she goes out and about but be comfortable in front of Ahem to let him gaze at her beautiful face to his hearts content.

aww not just u guys!!! i have said this a few times before too..but i adoreee gopi when her pallu is covering her head..😳
when she started wearing it, it was a different case as she used to practically hide her face n keep her head down..but as months went by she no longer covered the face fully..but just left the pallu on n the way it frames her face is just so beautiful!! n Nafisa totally agree with u n Nazma...

so well i hope she does keep her pallu up..i was just watching last teej yesterday n was surprised how different things r right now..earlier it was her helplessness n her fear that kept the pallu up..just check this video

but now its just recognition n respect for her husband..n well they look so cute together when she has her pallu on n looking at him dreamily now a days!!!😍

n well i too due to these reasons want her to keep the pallu on..but the reason should be different..it should be cz she wants to wear it rather than a compulsion as it was made to be..if aham says it doesn't matter to him if she wears it or not as long as she shows her sweet smiling face to him..

btw now a days as nafisa said aham seems to enjoy her outwards reaction to his presence rather than becomes defensive as he used to be!!they both kindaff sweetly acknowledge each other when they meet..

I like the way she looks and the pointed way she takes it over her head the minute she sees him but I feel it needs to go.

There should be no barriers any more and it's not a sign of respect, exactly - more like putting a small distance between them because she had sworn she would keep out of his way and not inflict herself on him.
Becuase if it was pure respect, well, she respects all the elders too but in this case the pallu doesn't seem to be a Modi family requirement for the younger vaus.

Plus, Gopi looks younger without the pallu, more like a young girl woman and Ahem needs to see her like that. Wasn't he irritated with it a couple of times - the time her hand was burnt and she kept trying to pull it on, didn't he push it away?

It makes the distance between them more marked. Because even when Ahem is behaving normally, Gopi takes the pallu and Ahem becomes a little self consicous, IMO.

I'd love it if he ordered her to leave it when he's around. 😍

n also one more thing i actually think gopi looks younger with the pallu!!i always think she looks like a teenager playing dressed up when she is wrapped in the pallu n she gives that shining look at her ahamji
i say this cz the wig they make Giaa wear is making her look a bit more matured..so the pallu nicely covers it up..but if they let her keep her hair like in the holi episode i agree that she looks years younger with open hair.just like a cute little doll!😳
so 4 me i want them to come together anyhow!but preferably with the pallu intact!!😆
