it's a fact that she's illiterate that's what her original character is meant to be but the audience see her as dumb person, and day by day she's just becoming worse.

I have always loved Gopi but now I am beginning to feel that she deserves some of the things that happen to her as she is becoming so foolish, especially when she falls for everything Rashi says. I would have though that having lived with Rashi all her life she would know what she is like by now.
