Why cant people understand this show is NO1?

I wanted to see the developments in the relationship of Gopi and Aham, and why was she sleeping on the floor, i managed to catch up online and started watching the show, but i think the reason the show is a hit is because it's a different type of relationship Gopi and Aham, his a momma's boy, Gopi is a doormat (goody goody too much) and we are all wondering what it is all going to lead to.
Other's have said it's because it's time slot (prime time 7pm) but i think it's more to do with the relationship of Gopi and Aham and how it is going to work itself out.

1. Evil has always triumphed over good. Ex: Rashi, Urmi and Kinjal. 'Nuff said.

2. One dimensional characters. Especially the men. The joke around here is that they could put up cardboard cutouts of Chirag and Parag and no one would notice. Even the character of Aham is barely fleshed out. Jigar? He just stares and grins.

3. There is very little movement in the story. Aham and Gopi married how long ago and there is still no relationship between them? Everyone here has a heart attack and faints if Aham looks at Gopi! How sad is that?! Have they EVER had a conversation more than a few words or one that he isn't screaming at her?

4. Gopi's character is pathetic. Yes, she's a nice, gentle, caring soul. She's also dumb as a stump, clueless, incredibly naive and the beggest doormat I've ever seen . Sadly, no one in this household cares two bits about her. Not even Koki. If Koki really cared, she would help Gopi with her education and teach her to be more world wise.

5. The addition of more characters. The main characters and their relationships get so little time as it is, and yet more characters get introduced. In the beginning we were led to believe that the leads were Aham/Gopi and Jigar/Rashi. What a joke! Now it's all about Kinjal and her stupid, pathetic life. Does anyone on this forum care about Kinjal? Really? I don't even think our dear friend Jake really cares about her. I think he posts about her to annoy the rest of us!

6. The writing lacks - big time. It's non-sensical. Is Gopi really that stupid to wash a laptop? Come on! There have been so many ridiculous things that we have been made to swallow. Please!

Do I really need to go on?

Now, before you tell me not to watch if I hate it so much, I'll tell you why I'm here. I like the forum. I used to like the show - before it started repeating itself so much. By the time I got fed up with the show, I had developed some really good friends here. I read the updates daily. These days I watch very rarely.

I'm a hopeless romantic. At the beginning I was sure that Aham was going to be a Darcy character. Now I realize how wrong I was. Even Darcy would never move this slowly. Some day, and I may be dead by then, Aham may pull his head out and realize that he has someone in front of him who will love him unconditionally. She may be illiterate and uneducated, but she loves him. I'll keep reading the updates, keep bothering you all with my posts, and hope for the day that Aham and Gopi can look in each other's eyes without anger or hurt. Passion is too much to hope for.
