Part 2
Aham then went some distance back and start calling for his mom as if he is searching for her.
" Mom... mom... where are you? " called Aham loudly and then came inside his room and acted as if he hadn't heard their conversation. The scene he saw in front of him made him want to smile. He had to bite the inside of his mouth to keep from smiling. When he had seen them earlier both his mom and Gopi were on the bed, his mom was sitting and Gopi was lying the bed with her head on his mother's lap and now his mom was sitting at the foot of bed and Gopi was standing infront of his mother with her back to him and her head covered with her saree's pallu.
Aham then went back to serious mode when he thought of why had he wanted to talk to his mom right now.
He said " Mom i have got something very important to tell you " looking at his momin eyes to convey how serious the matter is through his eyes.
Listening to him Gopi said to Kokila " Maaji, i have got some work in the kitchen. I will be there if you need me " saying this she turned around and was facing Aham now but her head was bent, her eyes trained on the floor as she walked towards the door. Her face was hidden from Aham by her pallu. Just as she was about to cross him, he asked her to stop.
" Gopi stop, I need to speak to both of you " said Aham.
Gopi's head snapped up when she heard him take her name for the first time but when the whole sentence registered in her mind fear filled her eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Aham. The only thought in Gopi's mind was that ' Did I do some thing wrong? '
Aham felt like he was the wrost person in the whole universe when he saw fear feeling her eyes. He felt as if a hand has cruled around his heart in a fist and clenching it tightly and that was when he realised that he had unknowningly fallen for Gopi.
He then reassured Gopi that she didn't need to fear him ever and that she had done nothing wrong.
" Mom, I would like you to read this and Gopi, can you go and sit besides mom please " said Aham while passing the diary to Kokila.
Kokila spoke for the first time since Aham has entered the room " Aham dikra, what is the matter? You looking were tensed. Everything is alright na. "
To which Aham answered that " Yes mom, everything is alright. Plz just read the diary then you will come to lnow that why I am tensed. "
Kokola took the diary from Aham and opened it said " Dikra is it Kinjal's diary because the hand writing is Kinjal's "
" Yes mom, its Kinjal's "
It took approximately 20 minutes for Kokila to read the pages which Aham has marked for her to read. After reading Kokila thought that she had never been as angry as she is right now and that to on her own daughter of all people.
When she looked up at Aham she knew that he was feeling guiltly for having treated Gopi as he did that to because of problem created by his own sister for her own self-fish reason. All Kokila could think right now was that she would never forgive Kinjal.
