neel used to be salon's childhood friend and he liked her,until he tried to create problems between nahar and saloni ,and they found out.

Yes, Neel was Saloni's childhood/best friend. However, as time went on, he started loving Saloni, and created rifts between Nahar and Saloni as so to break them up. However, once they found out Neel was ashamed. I think he then left and gave his wealth and things to Saloni's brother Samar.
