Hey guys, this is going to be my last silly story for a while. Since school's starting, I won't be able to post my regular stories on Friday. But I will begin my silly stories again regularly next summer. I'll also post a few stories during christmas and spring breaks. Sorry abt that guys, u all have been so amazing with ur wonderful comments and encouraging replies.. I'm touched by all the love that you guys have given me, more than words can describe. From the bottom of my heart I thank you so muchš¤
Hehe, before I get all mushy n teary let me get on with the last story of the seasonš
It was dinner time at the Singh house -
Nahar: Wowww Tara, this food is much better than Saloni's! By the way, did you throw out the garbage yet Saloni!!!???
Tara: Its ok Nahar, I've done that already. I was wondering if I could use the car to go shopping?
Nahar: Sure, why not bhabhisa, of course... Oh and Saloni, go wash the car!
Saloni: But I just washed it yesterday!
Nahar: Well then, wash it again..
Saloni(grinding her teeth and thinking to herself): My dignity in this house has been reduced to a peanut.. I've got to do something abt this.
The next day, she's at the laundromat washing everyone's clothes when she meets Jai Walia there, washing the Walia family clothes.
Saloni: U here too?
Jai: Yup... this is my life.
Saloni: I need advice, I'm sick and tired of my family treating Tara as a princess and me as the servant!
Jai: Oh, I've gone thru that before. But I can help you...
Saloni: Really? Do tell!
Jai Walia tells her the plan to bring the family to her feet.
Saloni: Wow, thats an excellent plan! But if you tried out this plan why are you back here then?
Jai: In due time my friend, due time...
Saloni leaves to begin her plan. The next day, Nahar notices Saloni not doing any work and asks her why she isn't.
Saloni: U see, last night I got this vision.. the easter bunny came and told me that I will be able to predict what happens tomorrow from now on. So I'm sitting here to help all you mortals.
Bhabho overhears this and comes running to Saloni...
Bhabho: Wow, really? Then predict what will happen to me tomorrow!
Saloni begins pulling Bhabhos ears..
Bhabho: Oww, what are u doing that for??
Saloni: Shush! I'm predicting your future.. this is how i predict. Ok, I see that... you will have eaten the car keys tomorrow.
Bhabho: What?? Car keys? Pshh.. thats never gonna happen. I don't eat any hard stuff, because I have no teeth.
The next day before Bhabho came to the kitchen for breakfast, Saloni grinded up the car keys and put it into her cereal. Bhabho begins to eat it..
Bhabho: Is it just me, or does this cereal taste metallic??
Tara: Oh, that must be the iron in it.
Brijesh enters in...
Brijesh: Anyone seen my car keys?
Bhabhos tummy makes the sound of a car turning on, and everyone looks at her.
Bhabho (realizing she just ate the car keys): Oh no!
She rushes away to the bathroom holding her tummy.
Brijesh: Wow Saloni, you were right. Predict my future too!
Saloni pulls his ears and then says..
Saloni: Hmm.. I see.. you with green hair!
Brijesh: We'll see abt that. I guess you're not so good at predicting after all.. because this will never happen!
Saloni thinking: Not if I can help it!
She then wonders what to do, and her eyes falls on Ishaan's art kit with green paint. She steals it and hides it under her pillow. At night time when all are asleep she sneaks into Brijesh's room and begins painting his hair green. While she's doing that, she spills some on his eyebrows too. She decides to paint those green as well and does. The next morning they hear a scream from Brij's room.
Tara: Aaaaahhhh!!!! (She runs away and continues to scream)
They enter and find Brijesh standing there with green hair.. and green eybrows.
Brijesh (ignorantly): What?
All scream and run off except Saloni.
Saloni: Tsk tsk... here is the mirror Bhaisa.
After looking at himself, he begins screaming and running around in circles and Saloni walks away victoriously.
Kaveri learns abt Saloni's newfound power and runs to get her prediction done as well.
Kaveri: I hear you predict the future.
Saloni: You hear right.
Kaveri: Well, predict my future..
Saloni pulls her ears...
Saloni: I see that tomorrow you will not wear your mosquito net.
Kaveri: And how will that happen? I own ONLY mosquito nets... i mean, sarees. We'll see tom...
That night, Saloni sneaks out to go to Kaveri's house and throw out all her netted sarees and empties out her wardrobe, just leaving one very weird salwar kameez.
The next morning, Kaveri wakes up, has a bath and goes to get her netted sarees when she realizes that they all have dissappeared and only one salwar kameez is left. She looks at it and decides to wear it anyway since she has no choice.
Saloni's house, the doorbell rings -
Saloni: Well well.. lookie here. Didn't I tell you Kaveri??
Kaveri: Yea yea, I just came to take my money back..
The whole family then enters to see Kaveri and is shocked seeing Saloni correct yet again.
Bhabho: Wowwww.. you are a phycho! I mean phychic.. im going to tell all my friends!
Soon, the whole town is lined up to meet Saloni and get their predictions done. Saloni is glad to see this, but she realizes that her life is become going around to people's houses and fulfilling her predictions!
Saloni: I've had enough!!! I need to get out of this.. but how??
She decides to visit Jai at the laundromat.
Jai: Back again? Plan didn't work out as predicted did it?
Saloni: Now I see why you're back here.. how do I get everyone off my backs?? They won't leave me alone for one second!!
Jai whispers to her what to do and she leaves for home..
Saloni: Listen up everyone, I'm going to make a prediction. A prediction for myself!
She pulls her own ears...
Saloni: I see.. i see.. that tomorrow all my powers will be gone!
All are shocked hearing this. From then on Saloni stopped predicting and went back to the laundromat to wash clothes.
Jai and she were sharing their miseries when Menka Garodia enters the laundromat and begins washing clothes. She sits next to them.
Menka: I need advice, I'm sick and tired of my family treating Savitri as a princess and me as the servant!
Saloni n Jai look at each other and nod to each other.
Saloni n Jai: Oh, we've gone thru that before. But we can help..
