I am thrilled.I met Ravi shastri.

Ok,this is for those who knew shastri as a cricketer in the 80's.Yes,I met him and wasim akram too.As soon as I met shastri,he shook hands with me and said..hi chitra,coz I had rung him earlier before meeting him.He was down to earth and mamis,I told him that yr mom is a huge fan and there were thousand female fans who are just crazy abt him.He said,ya,I know,if one plays crick,this is bound to happen.After that I saw akram,he was busy flirting with a girl .I shook hands and he was more than happy.when I told him that I am his fan too.took pics with ravi and akram.No indian fans.All foreigners in that hotel,so ravi shastri,harsha bhogle(commentator<he too was there),myself,hubby and son,we all sat together to watch srilanka vs s.africa match.I told shastri that I was crazy after him and even went to temples to pray for him.U know what he held my hand and said..really..(I was abt to faint,when he did that,it was too much for me..shastri holding my hand..i couldn't have even dreamt of it)I said,yes,I prayed for U to take wickets and when U won the Audi car for man of series,I went to the temple again.He said,he was very impressed and said,that I am a true fan,that is the reason he won the car.I said,it is not only because of me,but also due to other female fans 😆.U know what he said...mein tumhare ghar aana chahta hoon for ghar ka khana(I want to come to yr house for home food).I said,what!!!!!! U are welcome but this is really a dream.Do u mean it? he said..yess..hotel khana is so boring.I said sure.He has given his mobile number too.guys,I think,this is an expereince,which I will never forget in my life.My dream comes true.

I wanted to share this with you all,because I consider you guys my 2nd family.sorry mods for this topic.could u pls let it be here for at least a day.I do not know anyone in the crick forum but here I have so many freinds,who will be happy for me.

Oh.... that's so cool!! Wasim Akram is also my mum's fav... I told her abt u meeting them both her jaw just dropped and she's absolutely jealous. Wasim Akram's b'day is on June 3 and on that day when my mom was a kid she always asked her mom to make sweets. 😆Thanks so much for telling us... its so neat that he asked to come to ur house, and he gave u his number, and he actually held ur hand. 😛 Too cool... ur too lucky Chitra 🤗

ramdi,I met him in a hotel here in Singapore.He has come to singapore for an ESPN assingnment.They are showing Live matches of World Cup in that hotel in a giant screen.
