OCT 17TH SHORT UPDATE

my mother in law hasn't got up yet so got a very brief update from my father in law

karan dies on the spot after falling from the terrace!!! shubhra's too stunned to react after this. the police come there and arrest her. next day brijesh announces that he'll hire a top lawyer for shubhra. tara and urvashi tell him not to get involved in this issue coz it'll defame their family and they've already gone through a lot coz of saloni's family. brijesh gives in to tara's command and does not pursue the matter. nahar decides to wait till brijesh agrees.

kaveri brainwashes shubhra that karan was meant to die coz he was a very bad person and that it wasn't an accident as everyone's made it look like-shubhra killed him and he totally deserved it. shubhra who's already in a shock-like state agrees to whatever kaveri tells her.

shubhra's parents are unable to hire a top lawyer but the next day they show a courtroom scene in which the defence and prosecution lawyers are shown arguing over the case. (i don't know which lawyer's for what so just figure it out) the defence lawyer says that karan was killed by shubhra while the prosecution lawyer argues that it was all an accident as karan was out to kill her child. in this all, shubhra gives her statement that she killed karan and that people like karan deserve to die-basically everything that kaveri had told her.

the judge is yet to give his verdict.
