i'd say saloni's character is perhaps a bit exaggerated but you can't call her stupid. if i'm not mistaken saloni was the one proved that kakisa was behind chandni's death and she proved nahar's innocence.

if that's stupid you'd have to call brijesh's whole family stupid as well since they knew kakisa a lot longer than saloni they had no idea what they were getting with kakisa.

as for bringing kaveri home saloni could be employing a certain strategy that's taught in business: keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer.

saloni probably figures that if kaveri is upto something its easier for her to know Kaveri's evil plans (if she has any) while she's staying with her than if kaveri was living at her father's house.

i wouldn't say that saloni is insensative but i'd say she was rather careless in thsi situation with tara.

however, i thought the director portrayed some good realism in this scene since these things do happen in real life. saloni was honestly just happy for shubra so she didn't at the time realize who was in her surroundings.

as for tara, if she's so sensative to this situation (of not having a baby) then why did these memories get brouht up now. (i mean know that kaveri started this) but i mean tara knew she would never get pregnant long before saloni even arrived on the scene.

yet she must have accepted her fate back then (somehow).
the fact that these horrible memories are brought up again proves that urvashi has something againist saloni.

insensitive means you have no regards for one's feelings and at the same time you are aware of it.

carelessness means acting without thinking of teh situation you are in or who you are with at the time.

basically carelessness is something you are (by mistake) not aware of.

so insensitive is not teh same as carelessness.

Ok if you want to use the word 'careless'....very well then...she was careless towards Tara's feelings, now don't tell me she is so boli-bhali...that she did not realise it.. obviously knowing what tara is going thru these days....it was very careless of Saloni.

that's a question you have to ask the director.

my point is saloni didn't do it intentionally. you didn't answer my previous question though....which is, why is tara so heart-broken about this now when she had this problem before saloni entered teh scene?

i mean the way she is acting is as if no one in the singh family could ever have a child with the fear that they might hurt tara's feelings?

i know tara is obviously a good person. so for these feelings to resurface is due to one person.........urvashi (and in small part kaveri)

no, i admit that saloni is a human being and that as good as her character is, she's not perfect so anyone can make a mistake.

one thing that is quite obvious from the tone of your remarks is that you certainly do not like saloni's character one bit. is that true?

another thing that is quite obvious is that you obviously like urvashi's character.

i personally have nothing against the actress playing urvashi. i think she is doing a great job of it. if (and only if) she does turn out to be a villain, then i'd have to say she's done it very smartly compared to kakisa and kaveri.



back to my other question: if that's not true, then you cetainly don't like the way the director is (or always has been) portraying saloni's character. is that true?

one last thing. you seem to be very select as to which questions of mine to answer. in fact you still haven't answered my previous questions.

which leads me to believe that you either agree or you don't have an answer to them. either way, i've said what i had to say about this topic so i'm done with it.

if you do decide to actual answer some of my previous questions then i might take a look at your answers later on.

1. You are wrong. I like Saloni's character, but what i don't like is the way the director portrays her as a unreal person

2.You mentioned that even saloni isn't perfect, but that's not what the director wants us to believe. Her mistake towards Tara is not supposed to be taken as a mistake by Saloni, but as one more nail in the coffin by Urvashi.(all this according to the director not me)

3. I do not like Urvashi's character and any other negative characters in any serial. You are totally reading my responses in the wrong way.

In response to your previous questions:
Tara wasn't brooding about the baby thing before bec. the director was too busy with the other story lines and they wanted to introduce a new negative character for this storyline which would lead Saloni to solve yet another problem of getting back Tara to "her old good self". So you see, this is what the director is trying to point out: Saloni is perfect, can solve unsolved mysteries, financial problems in business, interfere in others problems and being the one to solve it, and last but not the least, being the one who gives shelter to the most darkest of characters.(who would care 4 such a person who has once thrown her parents on the street.I wouldn't) But saloni the devi will.
