Everyone scolds Kaveri for trying to make an alliance between Shubhra and Karan. Kaveri explains that she had taken this step since Shubhra's pregnancy could not be terminated. Narpat is very angry but Kaveri gives another logic saying that it is better to live as a widow or a murderer's wife than as an unmarried mother.
Ambika just nods her head in agreement but Narpat and Samar are confused. Slightly convinced Narpat and Ambika go to the police station to ask about Karan's sentence.
On the other hand, Saloni is tensed for Shubhra. She comes across an ancient key near Nahar's pillow. Manno bhabhi and Ambika have a fight over Shubhra's pregnancy much to Kaveri's delight. All this disturbs Shubhra and she decides to commit suicide.
