Nahaar house
Brijesh, Tara, Bhabho, Aditi and Dheer all are shocked. Saloni with folded hands begs for forgiveness from all for whatever Kaveri had said. She says she is ashamed. Saloni starts crying and goes to her room. Nahaar says that it was my mistake, as he had not told her anything.
Aditi rouses up the issue by saying you were only trying to help them, you always go out of the way to help them and they insult us in our own house. Kaveri had no control over her tongue. Nahaar gets upset and leaves. Dheer supports by adding that " yeh to hawan mein haath jal gaya" and that we are rich, respectful people and have a status, how can she treat us like this?
Bhabho says that we were wrong in the way we tried to help. We should have tried to help them without their finding about it. Aditi gets angry and says if they are so great them why shd we help them and they can show their greatness in other ways. Aditi adds on if we had given spoiled food to a beggar at our doorstep then it is bad. That's why relations' shd always be within equal status. If Kaveri had a problem she cld have been discreet and politely conveyed her thoughts. What was the need to create such a big scene?
Nahaar consoles Saloni and asks her forgiveness. Saloni says no its not your fault, you only wanted to help Samar but you shd have consulted me. Papa has not openly told me abt his problems and this was regd Samar's job. Kaveri has to be handled sensitively. Saloni says what wld Brijesh bhaisa be thinking abt her family now? Narpat's house
Kaveri enters howling loudly. Narpat and Ambika are concerned and ask her what happened and where had Samar and she been? Kaveri in high pitch says our prestige is lost becoz of Saloni. Saloni di's in-laws called us there and then treated us worse then beggars, agreed they are rich and have money but how can they think of making Samar their servant? Saloni di does not treat us with respect in front of her in-laws but how can she disparage my in-laws, my family's reputation? My father went thru serious problem but did I ever cry in front of you (maine kabhi aapna rona roya) and seek your help? I will not allow her to tarnish the reputation of my sasural! They treated Samar like a beggar, if they have money we have self respect. Now we cannot even see eye to eye to them. "Maan maryada gervi rakh di" They offered job like giving someone stale food.

Dhananjay says that happiness and sadness are like day and night they will keep coming and going. Gayatri gives him a bag of her jewelry her parents had given to her at the time of her wedding. She asks him to sell it since she no longer needs it. Dhananjay tells Gayatri that the jewelry is a memoir of her parents and she shd keep it and one day he will with his own hands make her wear the jewelry. He then says that he can make an effort to help her brother provided she does not tell them. As Gayatri is abt to leave, Dhananjay grabs her hand and asks her to remember him whenever she gets time. Gayatri responds that he is always in front of her eyes.
Samar informs Kaveri that he is going to meet a friend regd a job.
Kaveri gets a call from her Dad. Chaudhari informs her that Advocate Yogesh Mathur has agreed to take Karan's case since he is indebted to him and also was asking for lot of money. Kaveri tells him that she has Rs20 lakh and she wld gladly spend it for destroying her in-laws ("mitti mein milane ke liye"). Chaudhari tells her that right now Rs2 lakh are needed and that Mathur will meet Karan today.
Jail scene
Mathur meets Karan and tells him that he has taken his case. Karan is surprised and tells him that he had not asked him. Mathur tells him that it is Kaveri's father who insisted upon him and he shd tell him everything. The police has all evidence against him hence he shd confess his crime. Karan is shocked and says you want me to be hanged till death. Mathur tells him that he cannot escape becoz of finger prints, the CD found, murder weapon and it was he who had sent Saloni to that hotel etc. If Karan confesses then he can try to get his sentence reduced. Mathur tells karan to do exactly as he tells him to.

Saloni tells everything abt the CD to Gayatri buasa who says will speak to Shubra but Saloni stops her by saying that Shubra has also suffered a lot and only now she has stabilized somewhat.

Kaveri sneers at Shubra that she knows all what transpired between Karan and her, the CD. Its only her parents who are ignorant of the affair. Saloni might have been saved by police but do not spread ur wings in front of me. Kaveri threatens that she will tell her parents abt her high moral character and they wld then commit suicide. So in order to keep her mouth shut shubra must behave well with her.
Shubra feels dizzy and faints. Kaveri gets scared and murmurs that now what worng did she say that "Shubra ke hosh ud gaye" She decides to call their family doctor. After check up the doctor asks Kaveri whether Shubra is married or not since she suspects her to be pregnant and after some tests it can be confirmed. Kaveri is shocked.
