To me no one on this forum is advocating rape or agreeing with it. Rape is a crime, as is murder, kidnapping, extortion, blackmail etc.

KS you are not going to get any argument with me on the act of dumping Saloni?s child ? it was a truly despicable act. When the nurse came up with the theory ? switching the babies. She pointed out the husband was in a drunken state, Kalika knew what was the potential/intended future for NS baby girl. So to me justice is justice?.. Kalika must know the theory of unintended consequences - outcomes that are not (or not limited to) what the individual intended in a particular situation. The unintended results may be foreseen or unforeseen, but they should be the logical or likely results of the action. So, the likely result for Saloni?s child is as you pointed out rape or a future as a prostitute.

As well as she made a bargain with KJT ? he?s an alcoholic as well as a greedy, spoilt, individual. Because he wears fine clothing doesn?t make him a better alcoholic ? he just gets drunk on Champayne rather than cheap rum?..

KJT plan of revenge was purely to discredit Brijesh and Nahar in Kakasa?s eyes from a business stand point. He framed Mr Banerjeer and place the 10 million dollars in Nahar?s account. But Kalika?s revenge was more heinous and I agree with you vile. She came up with the plot to frame Brijesh, she poison those people through KJT help. But it was her plan. (The Tara/Saloni/Lalli Massi ? I don?t personally believe it was a crime because you whisper in some-one eyes they have to decide what is right and wrong ? so I hold Tara, Bhaboo, Dhree totally responsible for the crap and the torture of Saloni. Kaveri/Samar ? it was entirely up to them to sort out their marital problem that started off with lipstick on the collar. Kalika just gave them a nudge). However I find her behave towards Ginni wa not right because due to her actions Ginni could have been thrown out by the villagers and end back on the streets.

There was no pleasure or gain for KJT in the Samar/Kaveri situation that was only for Kalika bnefit. She alone came up with the scheme for NS baby as well as her ?pregnancy? to torture Saloni. Her arrogancy is in believing she can control KJT as she can control everybody.

I understand what everyone is saying and to an extend i may agree...however no one deserves to be Raped, even some one as evil as Kalika.

I don't think thought of the family's background before she switched the baby, for all she knows the baby could've ended up with rich parents. something like this could've happened to her as a baby too...she is beyond thinkging like that at this point.

Personally, if Saloni had let things be she prolly wouldn't be facing this. i am not blaming Saloni...

Honestly I cannot say I am happy that Kalika got raped nor an I sad.

you know I can only imagine Kalika finally confessing everything becoming the next jiji and having Nahar and Saloni looking around thier whole community for the child they lost, and even though we think that Kalika wouldve learned her lesson with this watch it turn out that there is a leasp and the child/ or dchildren bore from this rape will avanege thier mother's torture fro mtheir father sadly they may never understand how shrewdly manipulative their mother is!

I disagree here. NO one has a right to violate another person. Rape is a heinous crime and lauding it is unfortunate and demeaning as a woman. You want to punish Kali there are far worthy ways ;starve her, put her in jail, give her solitary confinement but rape is condemnable in all circumstances.If Kali is scheming and deceiving then equally culpable are Tara and Sal since they are weak enough to fall into the trap. Kali's charac has been a self made one and little support ( we dont know how much GP contributed but he didnt tend to her for sure). Her revenge idea is a big flaw in the script, its meaningless and senseless. Shitij is worse than Kali as he is decieving his own father!! How dare he violate Kali? This is pure evil. Kali teaming up with Doc is again more of Doc fault than hers. Kali is a cold hearted criminal and deserves incarceration for life but no one has a right to rape anyone even her. Sal's daughter fate, here Kali is most evil harming the child who has nothing to do with her. But Sal is to be blamed too she didnt care for her child and blindly rushed after Advitya. She cld have called for Nah, Brij or anyone. So if the mother doesnt care how can we blame others?
