Okay guys...everyone has to watch today's episode...because I haven't done justice to the how cute the awards ceremony was! Do watch it!!
Written Update: March 27th, 2012
The Chaturs minus the oldies are celebrating over their victory...Toasty maiyya is very upset and disturbed while everyone is praising her and Nitika is thanking her and the rest of the family for helping out so much. Tej decides that everyone should get awards and the 3 idiots...Tej, Gyaan, and Prachin...decide on having an awards function to give awards to each member of C parivaar. Toasty still looks disturbed. (Haaaiii my jaanu looks so excited and cute...wish I could pay more attention to the episode >.<)
Dadaji and Pitaji are discussing and Pitaji is really proud of Toasty's victory and that she proved to Nani ma that she is Vimla's shadow...Dadaji says that she didn't need this test to prove that and whatever she has done for this family is proof enough...the day she had lit the diya on Diwali (they show a flashback of Toasty lighting diya in front of Vimla's picture on her grihapravesh day...not Diwali 😕), he says he knew that day that their Vimla would be coming back. Dadaji almost spills the beans about all of them helping Toasty out but then covers up saying that they all prayed for Toasty's success. He says it's time to sleep and throw the blanket over his head and peeks out 🤣 (OMG, I love my Dadu!!! He's too cute!!)
Toasty is very disturbed and lost in thoughts...Tej comes in says to her that Jhansi ki Rani won the war today so how does she feel? Toasty says you know I didn't win the bet by my own hard work. Tej says so? Toasty says so we lied and by lying we didn't win anything. Tej says that his philosophy is that when you lie for what is best and it doesn't do harm to anyone, then there is nothing wrong with lying...he tells her forget about it baby and let it go, and tells her to sleep. Toasty lays down but she is still very much disturbed. (Oh God...I hate it when I can't pick a side because both sides are well justified!! 😵 Tej is absolutely right in his thinking...I mean, they were just trying to help Nitika out and they wouldn't have been able to do that if they hadn't cheated...there was no way Toasty could have finished all the chores before 6...a lie that does good for someone and doesn't hurt the other isn't a bad lie...but at the same time, knowing Toasty and her personality, I can see why and how it would disturb her so much to lie to Nani ma about this whole thing...and in a way, she also strongly believes that she can't earn the fruits of victory without honestly winning it...so I guess I support both of them and hope that they both support each other...as long as they don't argue about it, I'm fine being torn between them 😆)
The next day, Prachin and Gyaan are showing off the trophies that they got for the awards ceremony. They refuse to tell Dadaji and Ved what awards are for who. Tej says but obviously, my Toasty will get the most important award 😳 Toasty looks really upset and Ved asks her about the same...Tej looks concerned for Toasty and covers up saying that she's worked hard, that's why she is a little tired.
The awards ceremony starts:
Dadaji wins Churan Award 🤣 for consuming the most churan
I think Pitaji won an award for his kanjoosi 😆 but honestly I kind of missed what his award actually was
Pashu wins ladoo mirchi award...self explanatory 😆
They didn't know what award to give Malti as she is giving them the biggest award with the baby so they present her with roses and give her their best wishes 😊 😳
Ved and Nitika get a Chupe Rustam jodi award 😆
My jaanu, being the most pyaare and the one to always find a way (He stands up and announces his own name 😆 How cute 😳) He is awarded a book titled "Tejneeti" 🤣 Tej gives a dramatic thank you speech to his younger brothers.
Prachin wins the Einstein award and a sign that says I'm not crazy 🤣
Gyaan gets the "Acha bacha award" 😆 (*Pinches Gyaan's cheeks* Gyaan's the cutest little brother...he really is an acha bacha 😊)
Nani ma gets Nariyal award because she's hard on the outside and sweet on the inside
And finally the big moment...Tej holds Toasty's hand...there's a huge introduction by Gyaan and Prachin for Toasty explaining how she changed the family and did so much for them and how much she cares for all of them...she gets the "Bahu ho toh aisi" award...Toasty goes up to receive it but then says that she wants to say something. She says I don't deserve this award because I did cheating with Nani ma...she confesses that she didn't win the bet and that while they had taken Gyaan to the hospital...whoever was at home had finished her work. She goes on to also admit...Malti tries to stop her but she asks her to let her say as she can't carry the weight of the lie with her any longer...that Malti only drank the kaada once and that after that she had thrown the kaada out. Nani ma is absolutely shocked. Toasty is in tears.
Pre-Cap: Nani ma blasts at Toasty that she has seen bahus fighting with their saas but she is the first bahu who has tainted the name of her saas. Everyone looks sad for Toasty. Nani ma says you will get a punishment for sure...for three days you are not allowed to even step into the kitchen. (For me, this would be a blessing 😆) Toasty looks shattered and Tej looks shattered for her as well. (I better get my TejYa scene tomorrow to make up for the crap I'll have to listen to and update on for Nani ma >.<)
Honestly...as long as the family stands by Toasty...what can Nani ma do? The Chaturs understand Toasty's worth and that is all that really matters...it would be a different story if they misunderstood her but we all know that that won't happen. I'm still trying to let my ears recover from the screech fest that just happened in the pre-cap...I may do some skipping around in tomorrow's epi if it's too long >.< :P
