(I had problems with IF this weekend so I wasn't able to post the Gupshup from Friday . My main points were that I loved Pitaji and Dadaji's serious conversation especially since it gives a background to Nani Ma and it wasn't like they were just pulling Nani Ma's character out of thin air...I'm glad they did that. Loved Pashu starting his doting on Malti and I wanted to give Malti the biggest hug in the world when she refused to let Shobha be the one to come and stay 👏 😆...thanks for saving all of us from that ⭐️..I literally laughed when she said I'll agree to anyone coming but not my Ma. TejYa brainstorming was cute...it would be like Tej to think of Sudha first 😆 and its so true that if Tej asked Sudha would leave everything and be at the door within seconds...she worships her damaad 😆 (I wonder what her bartaav will be like with Prachin 🤣 ) I also really liked the scene between Pitaji and Toasty where Pitaji is telling her who he has in mind...it reminded me of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham where they will be talking about a person and their voice takes on this affectionate, almost floating quality and then the person is shown in the background 😆. So that was my Friday gupshup in a gist 😆)
Today's Highlights:
~The C brothers are looking at pictures of Nani Ma as Dadaji has already told them about their plan to bring her home
~Nani Ma is shown in the temple as a strict woman as she scolds these girls (one for forgetting to put on her mangalsutra and another for wearing jeans and top)
~Pitaji is telling Malti to take care of herself and to ask Toasty for anything she needs (he ends up telling her this repeatedly many times) and he tells her not to ask anything of Pashu as he is a nalaayak and doesn't know anything 😆
~Toasty is one-handedly running the kitchen again and since she is out of habit of doing everything herself, things are tad chaotic...Nitika comes and offers to help but Toasty runs her out of the kitchen as its her first day back at work
~Tej comes to the kitchen to bid farewell to his love 😛 before leaving for Mission Nani Ma...we get another cute TejYa hug which sends Tejy straight to the clouds 😍
~Tej and Pitaji leave for the village.
~Sudha comes as Tej asked Toasty to call her while they were in the village...Sudha dotes on Malti lovingly by bringing her lots of homemade sweets and snacks...Pashu starts an argument with her just to make Malti laugh 😆 Toasty comes and thinks they are really fighting and sends them out.
~Tej and Pitaji reach the village and Tej has fun looking at everything while Pitaji is in full tension mode...Nani Ma hears them arguing over who should call her and she comes out...she asks who it is and Pitaji says Chedi...she says she doesn't recognize that name, with a very angry expression.
Pre-Cap: Tej and Pitaji are sitting with Nani Ma and eating, and Tej explains in a caring and pleading tone how much they need her in that house, especially now that Palti's baby is on the way. Nani ma says I will never step into that house again.
Gupshup Comments:
Pitaji was so entertaining in today's episode, especially in the first half...loved when he kept calling Pashu a nalaayak 😆...the way he fluctuates his voice into that squeak in his voice, makes his phrases all the more comical. I loved the sweet little arguments between Pashu and Pitaji and Pitaji repeatedly telling Malti to tell Toasty if she needs anything...I'm pretty sure Toasty has enough on her plate with having to handle all the housework again. It'd be better to tell Pashu to handle Malti's needs instead 😆 The nalaayak can learn how to be laayak in these matters 😆 I was 🤣ing at the part where Pitaji imitated Pashu, saying that that is how his baby would be if he kept walking around with a grumpy face like that 😆. Malti was cute with her little giggles 😊
Poor Toasty is back to the hectic-ness of handling everything on her own :P It reminded me of her starting days in C Niwas, as she was running around trying to make sure she had everything down. And then when Tej came in to wipe her face...it also reminded me of those days...Tej trying to relieve her of some of her tension as she tries to carry the weight of the house on her shoulders <3 Seeing TejYa's love for each other always makes me fill up with joy 😊 I can imagine some of Tej's fear of not wanting to go away after that Pune accident but once again their understanding of each other and their faith in each other is shown <3 Hope the next TejYa scene I get is them realizing that Palti's baby should have a little brother or sister to play with when he or she comes 😉 😆
Toasty's scene with Nitika was also cute. Love when Toasty starts her Jethaani ji joking and Nitika gets freaked out whenever Toasty tries to touch her feet 😆 Poor girl felt guilty seeing Toasty all stressed out with the housework and having to leave for the office. I have a feeling Nani ma will make her leave her job though with a lecture that a bahu should first uphold her responsibility at home, or something like that...maybe seeing Toasty struggling will make Nani ma think that Toasty is incapable of handling everything herself and put blames on Nitika in this way :/ Don't know yet...still haven't seen enough of Nani ma to be able to judge exactly what nooks she could pull out in the bahus. Today's epi was like a foreshadowing I think that for sure the food may be criticized...but we'll have to see what all else happens.
Sudha was awesome in this episode...really loved how doting she was towards Malti, bringing her all those treats just for her, in a similar way that she would if Toasty were the one pregnant. I'm glad she's past her worry and doubts over Malti taking Toasty's place and that she sees Malti with so much care and affection. It really shows the difference between Shobha and Sudha (since they have been compared before a long time back)...Shobha was terrified and jealous when she thought Toasty was jealous as she was simply thinking about her own daughter and how she wanted her own daughter to give birth to the first Chaturvedi child of this generation...but Sudha has no such thoughts...she's purely happy for Malti :) and the ways she said "meri Malti" was very cute and sweet as well <3 Sudha's fights with Pashu are always a joy to watch 😆
And finally Tej and Pitaji in the village. Seeing Pitaji so scared was fun to watch...usually it's him ruling over others...now we'll finally get to see someone that he fears 😆 Tej was cute while he was looking around the courtyard...he looked like a little kid 😊 I really hope he and Nani ma make a connection in tomorrow's episode...it would be really cute to see some kind of affection from Nani ma seeing her middle grandson before her after so many years since the last time she would have seen him would have been when he was just a small child...and now he's a grown married young man...and for Tej, she is a symbol of his mother...his mom's mom. Would love to see this relationship come through in tomorow's episode as Tej tries to convince Nani ma to come home. As for Pitaji...I like Nani ma claiming not to recognize him 😆 Serves him right 😆 Ab pehr pakadlo uski aur maafi maango, "nalaayak" 😆 It took you 15 years to be a man and apologize...and that too only after your daughter-in-law got pregnant.
Vaise another comment I had from the previous episode was that how in the world would the doctor know that Malti has complications in her pregnancy in only the first month or so of her pregnancy? But putting all the medicine stuff aside as in TV world, real medicine doesn't exist 😆 and TV medicine has to be used to create drama 😆 Is it really necessary for an elder person to be in the house just because Malti is pregnant? I mean, there are so many nuclear families nowadays where it's just a girl and her husband living along and the girl manages getting through the 9 months on her own...but the doctor did mention something about Malti's case being different, I think, so I'm guessing the CVs are trying to make up for it in some form...even though the seriousness of Malti's complications shouldn't be known in such an early stage 😆 Ah well...I'll let it slide because I actually like this track 😆
