I wouldn't want to get into the habit of quoting people but just want to clarify that I look at a character in its entirety and do not really judge them on every day basis. Each character is shaped to do a certain type of role and no one is ever perfect. As such Toasty is designed to do a larger-than-life role (as people like to call it here) and I repeat that so far all her deeds have brought greater happiness for this family eventually. Due to those baby steps that she has taken, this family stands where it does today (not literally today!). And yes, she did make a big sacrifice here, she put her care/concern for Pashu/Pitaji (based on the conversation she overheard between Pashu and Malti) ahead of her love for Tej. History tells us Toasty has always gone out of her way to achieve her goals that she very much believed in. She has taken risks, gotten hurt and recovered forgetting the negatives, insisting only to remember and focus on the the good parts. This is what I appreciate about her.

^^ My only $0.02, FYI, There is nothing wrong in quoting someone. It only means, someone is replying to your thoughts. Larger than life Toasty is. But I will reiterate myself again, she does not have the right to rule or make decisions for others. Pitaji/dadaji have not given her that right.
And I am done discussing her. Its giving me a headache.

coolkitty: I don't mean to impose my views on anyone neither do I want to make someone feel obligated to reply to my post just because I decided to quote them especially by highlighting a part of text (which sometimes bring the highlighted part out of text). Also, I do not want to come across as Toasty's advocate, I feel as much passion for each and every character of this show (except Malti's mom) and can defend them too with same enthusiasm if I find the need. I am realizing that by not disliking Toasty I am able to enjoy this show every day and do not feel the need to skip an episode or fast-forward a certain sequence.
I joined the forum very recently and so far all my posts have been speaking in favor of Toasty because that's currently the atmosphere in here. I guess I have made my views very clear in however many posts I have written so far and it would be lame on my part to keep repeating the same. These discussions are not bothering me at all but I can choose to stay quite for a while until something new pops up :)

good enough.. u want to support Toasty so that you can enjoy the show.. that is a sound logic.. we will understand.. everything is clear now.. the disagreement was with other logics only..

These serials portrays the heroines 'larger than life/Mahaan character' that is so hard to identify in real life. I don't think even if Toasty did lie for the family, it was moral and ethically right, when she is given such an important job of judging a result. Think if in real life if everybody start doing things like this'.this isn't fair'and if judging was becoming too hot for Toasty ' she should have just talked with Chedi and let him decide, since he started it all- she didn't need to become the 'Mahaan do it all". Besides things coming from parents isn't the same as coming from a wife, CVs (in this case the character Toasty) has to realize all duties are important and the Cvs need to show that sometimes the heroines 'doesn't know it all" and experience and relationships can better solve a problem'just my 2 cents'

Speaking only about my pov, I am happy the way the plot has turned out, while I will reiterate that I do not want harm for Tej so that Toasty realizes her mistake, I am happy, that she feels guilty enough and may be she should some more! She is after all very responsible for Tej's this mental trauma. If I am harsh on Toasty today, thats only because, she was wrong and she did wrong by the one person she always claimed she loved the most.

She doesn't claim to love Tej the most, she loves him 😊 I know what she did was wrong but you guys are just thinking about 1 thing, that Tej won... I was kinda of sad and unhappy why Tosty did that to her Tej and then i realised that she was given the responsibility to take care of the house equally. As far as it concerns Tej, yes she cheated to make him lose and she made Pashu win, But then she realised her mistake, she even talked to Tej about that ! 😊
