Shruti Bapna is currently seen in shows Sasural Genda Phool and Saas Bina Sasural simultaneously.
The sets of both the television serials are in Malad - one in charkop and the other in Kandivali.Shruti is happily married to Tushar Naik and her sasural is in Mumbai iteself. She is amazed as the co-incidence as both the shows have Sasural word in the shows title but her roles are as different as chalk and cheese. In one serial while she is playing a positive character Nitika (in Saas Bina Sasural), the other serial has her in the negative role of a psycho named Pia (in Sasural genda Phool).
Recently Shruti visited a mall in Mumbai where a female fan came up to her and asked her about the co-incidence of sasural. She says, "As an actor I am greedy and for good roles. It's a mere co-incidence that sasural is the backdrop in both shows and that I am married in real life too. Hope the next show I take up has a sasural in the backdrop too."
