Mandira's crazy behaviour , reminiscent of bunny boiler Glenn Close in Fatal attraction, seems to have snapped something in Vijay. She was sweet and sensitive before but this latest Avatar shows her as obsessive and obstinate. I could see Vijay searching for the person he loved in this new Mandira. Is spurned love the only reason for her behaviour? Or is it a general sense of having lost Vijay to someone else, not getting what she had set her eyes on? What exactly is Mandira planning to do by separating Vijay and Bulbul.? Vijay is wary of this new Mandura and might even be questioning his previous feelings for her. She is too far gone to see that there is no happy ending for her here, Atleast not with Vijay

My thoughts were exactly similar.Fatal attraction and Glen Close came to my mind too when I watched the pre cap in Friday's episode.
If Mandira had been graceful and dignified in her loss Vijay would have found it very difficult to get over her and move on.Now with this behaviour she is making it easy for Vijay to move on with Bulbul.

But I think she always managed to get what ever she wanted till now. This is the first time the object of her affection moved out of her grasp and she is not taking it well.
She probably would have managed to extricate herself from her engagement with Anant and gotten back to Vijay. But Vijay had closed the door on their relationship by getting married to Bulbul. So there is anger against Vijay too.

Another reason could be that she is spoilt by her father.I think he gave her everything she wanted till the time she wanted Vijay as her husband. At that time she went against her parents and now Vijay is denying her what she wants. Bulbul is in her way so she will not spare her too.

But I so want her to give up the idea of marrying Vijay and make things difficult for him in other areas of life and that would be more interesting.

Haven't seen Fatal Attraction but have seen certain other shows and movies where there were characters like Mandira. Sadly the end of obsession for such characters in our shows and movies mostly only happens in the form of death :( And I don't want the same to happen with Mandira. That is why I hope she starts loving Anant after marriage while still remaining Vijay's political opponent.

Wishful thinking though looking at the present scenario.

I can see Mandira's obsession with Vijay ( it has moved on from being just live at this stage) turning into something darker soon. Are we heading towards Beyhadh territory here? . Wish the creatives would show some originality rather than make Mandira another Maya
