Mohd.Rafi or Kishore Kumar

Guys I am a big fan of both these great singers but i definitely am biased😳towards kishore da.do you think there can be a comparison between them. I agree both of them were genius's in their own right.The scale Rafi sahab had cannot be matched by anyone.but again kishore da's melody and style is unparalleled.

I love some songs sung by rafi which i feel cannot be touched by anyone else like madhuban mein radhika and yeh ishq ishq hai.

But again kishore da is kishore da-who else can sing roop tera mastana,yeh dil na hota bechara,rhimjhim gire saawan.well................its impossible to ever compare them.

what are your thoughts????

Both are greats.. So its a matter of preference..

SDB was only one who put them side by side in most succesful way. Otherwise both shone with only certain MD's....For eg.. take the songs from jewel thief.. Yeh dil na hota bechara was a classic.. but who can forget the beauty of "dil pukare".......

So really its like comparing two extremely effective people.. its veri difficult...😆

One MD who found both of them less effective was Salil Chowdhary..He kept on switching bet;' them in uncomfortable. He looked like convinced about mukesh...Although he might have found KK slightly more effective than Rafi...just as OPN found KK less effective than Rafi...

But if you want to do hair splitting analysis, Rafi had certain limitations while Kishore didnt have many limitations...

I am a great great great fan of Kishore da.. But how can I forget Rafi Saab's classics 😳... so just cannot compare... each one has his own place with me....
