Shut up OBJu!! 😈 You have no idea what you are talking about!! Go and listen to Yesudas' songs from the 60s to date!! He also received Padmabhushan from the President and was awarded Honorary Doctorate in music because he is a true master and a living LEGEND of Carnatic music who is also an evergreen singer!! To this day, no one, his own son included, couldnt snatch his throne away!! And I doubt anyone ever will be able to - we have had hundreds of good singers come and gone, coming, still very mush present, but yet what Yesudas is will remain as is forever!!! 😃

Yup yup yup!! 😳 😃 He is yet the most humble and simple human being despite all the fame!! He was so much in demand in Kerala and rest of South that he couldnt accept many offers from Bollywood. Yet he managed to make a mark in Hindi too. If he had more time, we would have heard more Hindi songs from him and would have continued to hear more... He preferred to stick to his lingo mainly, along with Carnatic music and devotional plus film songs in all South Indian languages...

agar rafi saab zinda hotey to I would make sure to teach him english 😃 I found it so innocent when in his diary he wrote "water feld road" instead of "water field road".. 😭

yeah a great south singer who sang lovely hindi songs, my fav being jab deep jale aana 😃
