hiiii everyone
Abhijeet Sawant has participated in Asian Idol, which most of you would be aware of....
For those who don't know here's everything you need to know.
it is thefirst of the asian idol series where, IDOL from 6 ASIAN COUNTRIES namely:
SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA,PHILIPINES,VIETNAM,INDONESIA,INDIA have been selected.the event was in indonesia
The idol were told to sing 1 english song and one song of their native language.
there 6 judges form the 6 respective countries.Anu Malik was the judge from India....
The performance event was broadcasted yesterday on SONY TV.
THE AUDIENCE HAS ONLY 25.5 HOURS TO VOTE!the result is today.
there's not a minute to waste as it already a bit LATE!
Abhijeet sang an english song "look into your eyes" and hindi-"junoon remix"
he got great comments...now all you have to do is VOTTTEEE NOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!
the other idols of other countries are very popular in their region and their people and voting REALLY HARD FOR THEIR COUNTRY'S IDOLS.
but not many indians are aware of this event.its upsetting that sony has not publicised the event at all....
The benefit we indians have is that our poulation is vast as compred to those countries whose idols have participated.So if all indians get voting ABHIJEET CAN EASILY SURPASS ALL CONTESTANTS AND WIN WITH SUPERIORITY!!!!!!

The rules for voting are that if you want to vote for a contestant form your country, you also have to vote for another contestant along.

How to Vote
You have to vote for 2 Idols in each SMS, but it can't be for the same Idol twice in the same vote.
Note that in Philippines, voters need to type "VOTE" in SMS.

Voting Start Time
The voting lines will be opened in all countries, except Vietnam and India, from the beginning of the Performance Show on December 15, 2007 and close near the end of the Result Show on December 16 (see Schedule part for more details), so that the total voting period is 25.5 hours per country.
Vietnam, who plans to air the Performance Show on December 14, at 8.30 PM, will stop the voting temporarily 24 hours later on December 15 (all Vietnam time). Voting will continue at the beginning of the airing of Result Show on December 16, 9 PM.
In India, the voting lines wil open at the start of the Performance Show on December 15 at 7 PM, and stop 25.5 hours later on December 16, 8.30 PM local time, because there will be no live voting during the airing of Asian Idol Result Show in India.
Total voting period per country is approximately 25.5 hours
