Adi's mimicking was pretty bad. The whole point of mimicking is to imitate someone and only god knows who Adi was trying to imitate as it surely didn't look like Sonu Nigam. And if you see the video again Sonuji also had a weird expression to his mimicing. His tapoori and gujrati styles sounded fake. I don't understand why he even bothers to act as it so doesn't look good!

I dont know which Aditya you were watching but the one iwas watching was doing a good job... Sonu was actually enjoying waht Adi was doing and didnt have ne "funny expression"... the point to Adi's mimicing was to show how Sonu Nigam used to extend words like saregamaaaaaa and he did a great job... obv Adi knew he couldnt go too far cause it IS Sonu Nigam and he didnt wanna be disrespectful im sure...

As a child he did better than other actors so wat abt now ........ it was sooo gooooooooood
and he only did it for fun .. not to copy sonu.As sonpan said 😳 n

Exactly in Jab Pyar kissi se hota he was the real star... and in Pardes his actin was just so natural that one is forced to Love him😳

Sonu Nigam in fact mentioned that he is mimicking Udi Narayan's performance in Film Fare awards function!!

Yup I saw that ON ii3 it was too funny.. thats why I said hes been doing it for years that hes so good at it now!! I dont know why ppl are bashing Adi😕

I felt Aditya did not imitate at all.. He just said what Sonu used to say in his own style and not sonu's style.. Ofcourse no comparison to Sonu but Aditya's wasnt natural while Sonu's was so natural..

I agree! You can't compare Sonu Nigam and Adi. Adi just didn't do anything like Sonu Nigam. Therefore that was a bad imitation of Sonu Nigam on Adi's part.

I do not understand why so much debate on whether Adi can act or not. I do not think mimicry itself is equivalent to acting.

Aditya did not try to show off his mimicry/acting skills, he had done that because Sonu agreed to mimic Udit Narayan only on condition that Aditya will mimic Sonu Nigam . Thats the reason Aditya had to do the Sonu mimicry act.

If judging Aditya's acting skills, please consider that he has never practiced mimicking Sonu Nigam before , whereas Sonu enjoys doing mimicry and has been practicing what he had performed that day for years, as what he performed that day has also been performed in another show few months back and for the same song.

Aditya has already acted in movies as a child actor , hence he definitely knows acting. Anchoring job does not have scope for acting , question of acting should not arise at all.

Mimicry or acting is a gift just like singing talent. Yeh sab ke bas ki baat nahi. Sonu is a gifted person. He's multi talented. Aditya might not be as skilled as Sonu in mimicry. No point in comparison.
