Hats off to Vishal Shehkar who are very genuine and fair. I agree with Shehkar that Amanat is a best singer among those three and Amanat really deserved to win. I am sure that he will go places 😃

Undoubtedly what Shekhar said about Amanat is liked by Amanat fans and disappointed Raja and Aneek fans. Shekhar said what he felt as a judge but that doesn't mean he is correct or a lot of us have to agree with him. I love Amanat's voice but only some of his songs. Please do listen to the song "Pyar Hua Ikrar Hua" the day Kareena was there as a guest and see how he managed to ruin the song. I personally feel that they are all good and the most versatile singer is Aneek. There is not a single song I can remember Aneek not doing justice. I just gave one example of Amanat's song but there are other songs too he couldn't sing well for what ever the reason. So please don't let Vishal and Shekhar's opinion be the reason to bash Aneek all over again.

Thank you for your opinion, but I have not seen any posts on this thread that are bashing aneek. Have just mentioned what shekar said here, and I have also mentioned that all 3 were good and I am ok with Aneek's win and would be okay with Raja's win too.

Shekhar is an emotional person.

When Shekhar listened to Aneek's 'Apne' title song, he became so emotional that he announced to Aneek "I am seeing you number 1 not in this tournament but in this whole industry".

If you do not remember this please go back to this episode where Aneek sang this song.

Now he has again become emotional after the Ghazal round for Amanat Ali.

Now what does this mean to us?

It means that Shekhar can not make up his mind. I do not blame him for this.
Because all the top 10 singers are good and all have potentials.

Do you guys remember Shekhar signed an album with a singer in the beginning who did not even survived one round of voting?
What you will say on that? I am sure he saw some good stuff in her.

So ultimately we could finally say that Shekhar's choice could be Amanat and that counts as one more vote to Amanat. This does not change the result.

you are right, this does not change the result, but we are not talking about the results here are we?? this topic is just stating what shekar said on both Amanat and the old format being brought back, that's all.

I am perfectly ok with Aneek's win and also think that he won it fair and square. I do not know what made you think otherwise, pls let me know.

Shekhar complicated himself by supporting one of the 3.

Even in the final day he said all 3 are winners.

No one will object to what ever format is taken for the next SRGMP as long as it is decided ahead of starting the program.

But as a guru he should not have commented on the result after it is concluded.

Moreover do you have anything to say on his comment after "Apne" song?
