Not bad but I think she sang other songs better than this as this is not really her song type. Mauli has a lot of vibrance and of course her "maiya maiya" is the best performance and was and unforgettable performance.😉😉

But I doubt that our mentors are fully qualified to assess and judge such singers. These singers will be put off because they will be asked to perform from a Punjibi, to Benagali to all kinds of rock and roll songs and also start speaking in "mind blowing" English. This will discourage a lot of classical talents from taking part. Unless we have a Saregamapa for only the classical singers, problem is whether it will be popular with most viewers and the sponsers. WEll if we do not try we will never know. 😉

totally agree with wht u've said.I doubt some of the mentors are as talented as these singers.Ppl like HR will get terribly insecure listening to such singers and the maximum compliemnt he'll give anyone is 'u sang very well.U r second only to me!!'(sorry HR fans)

And in reality shows,the organizers expect the singers to perform,sing and even act at times.Good singers with a strong classical base will certainly get put off by this drama.The affected ppl will be us,the audience,coz we will not get to hear good quality of music.The likes of sunidhi,sonu and shreya are sticking ard in the industry coz they came up the hard way and were judges by good judges ..for singers of today,fame comes easy with more drama and less talent.... and as they say..easy come easy go ..

The likes of Parthiv,Nihira and Amaanat are rare talents..certainly hope they find a foothold in this industry which is turning music into a circus

For all Parthiv Gohil fans, he will be participating in a show called Jjhoom India, starting this Saturday on Sahara One.

The show will have 10 pairs, each pair will consist of an television actor/actresses pairing up with a professional singer. Each pair will sing songs based on some theme and one pair will be eliminated every week.

Parthiv is paired up with television actress Apara Mehta, other singers participating are Suresh Wadekar, Suresh Bhonsle, Jatin Pandit, Zubin and some others.

It will be good to see Parthiv on screen after such a long time.
