In 2005 we had finale happened between 3 guys. Every one did very well until reaching the knock out round and it was obvious that Debo not doing very well at all. Even his mentor/other judges knew what was happening. But he still beat every one else in the knockout round coz the region from where he came voted big time in the SMS polls. On the other hand the two other guys who had done much better than this guy had to fight for the second place. Hemachandra. the states in South India do not even watch hindi programs most of the time. So he was fighting an uphill battle to begin with, the SMS battle, in which every other guy got the majority of votes from his home region. Bottom line he was knocked out of the tournament. This inspite of his excellent performances all through the competition

one can always argue that the victory in these competitions does not ensure future fame and success

will 2007 will have same kind of result like 2005?

Nihira's elimination in C2005 was very unfortunate.As far as Vinit goes, well Debu had defeated him before also and mind you that time the decision was taken by esteemed judges like Pt.Jasraj ji and not public.

As far as control of sur taal or voice maturity goes, Debu is way ahead... and between the two finalists he rightfully deserved to win...

This time the case is different...all 3 will be there till the very end and this time all 3 are very good as far as talent goes....

Well, you are asking whether History will repeat itself or not. But you know the wrong history. Last time he grand finale was between two contestants not three.

As far as Debu is concerned, please don't go that route. We don't want to see you getting badly bashed here.

watever man, i agree that history has been repeated many times in the show, but vinit and debu were equally amazing and these three are also equally amazing...I dont think it matters who wins, all three are awesome

yes, grand final in 2005 was bet 2 singers . this year we have 3 finalist so I use 3 singers from 2005 for comaparison reason
