Versatility is not just singing every genre songs but to sing it perfectly both technically and soulfully.

But the question is why bring up the issue itself. If one is not versatile is he then allowed to be considered a good singer? So we then go ahead and look down upon Kailash Kher and Sukhwinder too.

How about then judging Jagjit Singh ji who I am sure would be unable to sing songs like Chahe koi mujhe jungli Kahae. 😆

I am the most versatile singer in this whole world. I can sing songs of K.L.Sigal to Zubeen Garg,Jagjit Singh to Farida Khanum, Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan saab to Ustad Rashid Khan, Lata to Alisha, I can sing it all.

Yeh alag baat hai ki usme na hi koi sur hai na hi koi taal. 😛

Jaadoo bhai, Please don't say that Amanat's performance in Yeh Honsla, Mora Saiyya, and some more were average.

thanks! i wish people who are saying he isnt veritile look at all the songs i posted and look that he can sing other types mussarat who i love sang tthe same songs and did amzing but then y dont ppl say he wasnt versitile i dont understand y to pick out raja? jus cuz he gets alotta votes and cuz ppl love him?
i like aneek and amanat too
may the bst win but it makes me mad that ppl say that raja sings the same

I always imagine the so called versatility similar to an elastic string where thickness of the string is the effectiveness of the singing and length of the string is range of genres.

As we go on stretching more and more by loading with genres , the length of the string is impressive but the thickness of the string decreases and it will ultimately snap anyway just go on increasing the length!!
