Clown of the day...

Ok u know how at the end of the show Aditya asks who was the spark of the day?? Well I would really like to change that and ask who do u guys think was the clown of the show today??😆😆😆
Seriously I can not figure out what Zee was thinking when they choose such a thyme at this level of the contest??😕😕😕
I mean common r we having a comedy circus or some serious singing?? Sorry to say but these people really looked like clowns...Did anybody c how horrible Sumedha was looking with like tons of makeup?? And what was with Mauli....It seemed as if she has scribbled her face all over with a black marker!
And what can I say about Amanat's lipstick...I think he had borrowed it from Baapi da!😆😆😆
Then Aneek's mooch...man somebody plz get him some glue so that it would stay on!
And last but not least, Raja! I really think besides singing he needs to join comedy circus...he really reminded me of Kashif from comedy circus!😆😆😆
I was so interested in his looks that I forgot to listen to what he was singing!!😕
But jokes apart, I really think the comedy thyme was not needed at this level of the contest...
No legends, whether its Lata Jee, Rafi Saab, or even NFAK have sang such crazy songs and that just shows how high their standards r...They have a class of their own, where as comedy songs suits better for stand up comedians instead of REAL singers!
I am actually very glad that Mussarat did not fit in this category...He is very good in NFAK songs, and NFAK took his songs very seriously and knew what REAL singing was...Mussarat will go far Inshallah...
To me I think Raja was the clown of the day! He made sure that if his singing didn't impress anyone then atleast his looks did!😆😆😆

If your favourite singer falters then go on blame the theme itself and bracket legends of music like Kishore kumar & Manna dey as non-serious singers.
The comedy songs of Hindi film music especially of the golder era are invaluable gems which are loved & hummed even today. Mussarat for all his reputation couldn't handle a simple straight song & make justice to his presence on SRGMP as a top 6 singer.

And sorry to say but Kishore Kumar is no where near NFAK! That man was literally known and appreciated by the whole world and has his name in the Gunnies book of world record...(same with Lata Jee) Where as Kishore Kumar was only known against us Asians...(mainly Indian and Pakistani)

Sorry if you feel offended but I was just pointing towards Mussarat's bad performance on Friday's episode and you took it as bashing. Calling anybody as clown on this show is certainly bashing of the worst kind.

Lastly NFAK is no doubt a legend in his own way, but to prove that point you don't need to denigrate or degrade Kishore kumar, even Janab NFAK wouldn't have liked it. Kishore da's talent and achievements don't need a certificate by guiness records, his place is well entrenched in the hearts of millions of music lovers.

I do agree the make-ups were wierd yesterday. But I don't see why you think comedy songs are very easy and not for real singers. Some of these songs are extremely difficult to sing and emote, and it is a challenge for every singer to pull off a comic song successfully. Some people yesterday managed to do that, hats off to them.👏 👏 👏

Many great singers have sung comedy songs. From your own examples, Rafi saab has sung comic songs, many of them quite crazy. The 'chatur naar' song was sung, along with Kishore Kumar, by Manna Dey, who was a highly trained classical singer. The same Manna Dey who sang songs like 'laaga chunari mein daag'. REAL singers can sing comedy songs and excel at them, as well as sing other types of songs. You can't degrade singers as stand-up comedians just because they sang comedy songs!
