After having gone through all the antiIndia and antiPak posts in the forums had a few thoughts. Now that some mentors have stood up and stopped elimination of Pakistani contestants, how come there is not even one post by so many who complained against Indian audience's partiality about the effort taken to right a wrongdoing. 😳
They were so ready to complain but so unwilling to appreciate any goodness. One more thing that struck me was it is alright for them to be patriotic and complain about Pakistani singers being in bottom 3 in the independence week etc, but it is not alright for Indians to be carried away by patriotism and vote for Indian candidates. Double standards??? 😕
Of course some posts were about singing and how such singers cud come in bottom 3. I am not talking of them but of the people who said Paki singers shud walk out and they didnt beg etc etc. On the other hands posts saying Pakis should leave for not agreeing to sing Indian patriotic songs and asking them to leave etc were also the other extreme.
Of course, it is really sad that good singers like Mussarat (I hope I am pronouncing it right before people pounce on me!!!!)and Amanath are in bottom 3 when singers like Mauli Dave are safe. If these people really cared about their singers wouldn't they rather vote for them rather than spew hatred all over the forum???
I wish we could appreciate the positive and try to further it, that a platform has been provided for contestants from both countries, that something is happening with all constraints to promote harmony, and take it from there and improve upon it rather than hate each other virulently. We dont even know each other personally. I for one dont know enough of any of the people posting those messages to want to hate them. Sad to see so much blind hatred and prejudice.😳

Oh and I would like to add Poonam and Amanat are my personal favorites if that will help any.
